cozy december photo diaries ๐
🕑 Added 2023-12-15 22:01:57 +0000 UTCHello friends!! Here's a little cozy/vaguely festive photo dump from the last month or so :o) Featuring so many cozy catto pics because of COURSE
- I had Pepper try on the little Christmas collar my parents sent me a couple years back, and she likes it WAY more than Sophie did lolol she even slept with it on!!! my lil christmas jester <33
- miss soph has been perching on the pillow next to me almost every morning -- her sweet little nose is raw and kinda wounded right now cause the air is dry and she keeps sneezing and licking her nsoe too much :(( i've been putting tiny little dots of vaseline on it the past few days and it seems to be helping
- I made all these lil felt xmas trees and am in the process of stringing them up into a little garland -- I know the holiday season is almost over but it's such a cute garland I'll probs keep it up well into January hehe
- pepper is so cuddly in the mornings sometimes, it's pretty fucked up how cute she is about it
- I did have to take Pep to the vet this week cause she's gotten a lil cough :( She got an antibiotic shot, and I've also got her on a round of steroids -- she seems much better already!! She was so good at the vet, barely cried at all!!! Brave girl <3
- my castmate/friend leah came over between shows one day to hang out, and we all ended up napping on the couch and pepper was wedged SO snugly between us lol
- on my two-show days, where I'm at the theatre from noon to 10, Ares has been driving over to look after the girls and give them dinner and stuff -- they both adore him, and he sends me photo proof of them all cozy together and it makes me all weepy
- I love Ares' dog Ace cause they look so much like each other it's absurd
- it was my castmate rebecca's birthday last week and everyone chipped in to get a cake to celebrate her!!!
- we also had a "holiday hootenanny" where we had baked potatoes and fixin's and it was a very cozy little company celebration :3
- Marian and I had sushi for the first time in WEEKS and it was so so so delish
- I just finished making a patchwork blanket for one of my nephews for xmas and Pepper had to bless it during the process, of course
- it's been getting grayer and grayer here, obvs, but every now and again we have a gorgeous cold sunny day and it really does wonders for my brain
- I started playing Honkai Star Rail cause of Argenti....pretty knight man...he's so Tamaki Suoh (of Ouran High School Host Club) coded it's absurd. also STRONG Marluxia Kingdom Hearts vibes (also as I was pulling for Silver Wolf I lost my 50/50 to Welt which I was VERY FINE WITH love this middle aged man)
- I got a haircut!!! I've been wanting to try a wolf-cut for ages, and I figured that now was as good a time as any~~ I showed my hairdresser this photo of Jungkook and she was like "yep I get it" and she really nailed it!! Initially, right after the appointment, I was like "oh no i've made a horrible mistake I hate it sobs" but by the end of the day I was all in on it >:)
- One of our stage managers, Stina, has a sweet little dog named Scout who comes with her to the theatre every day and just sleeps in the hallway during the show, and one day she came around with a little sign to all the dressing rooms to give everyone the half-hour call ToT it was VERY PRECIOUS
- The backstage team has been consistently working on puzzles during the show, and they just finished their second 1000 piece puzzle! I think they already have another one out they're trying to finish before the end of the run
- Our show closes on Sunday and I am going to be very sad ToT I really love having co-workers and seeing friends every day and it's only when I finish a theatre project that I remember how frankly lonely my job is...and the long winter days don't help much ;; I've been reaching out to friends more though, to fight off these Winter Lonelies~
- I wanted to share my fit for opening night cause it was VERY GOOD (I got these incredible red boots this summer in Sweden!) and I brought Ares along as my +1 and we both cried during the show :')
- I made some really cute little heart wrist warmers with this pattern!! I made one during a matinee and the second during the evening show the same day heh (I've just been sat in the dressing room crafting up a storm during every show)
- I also bought this hat pattern from Cosmaudi for an incredible crochet hat that literally looks like it's 1x1 knit rib, it's insane, and the hat is so stretchy and cute!!!
- and some friend and catto pics to round it out <3
I know it's been long time no blog, but I hope you enjoy this little photo dump hehe
Ares and I leave next week to go back to Houston for the holidays -- so the fam gets to meet the boyfriend at last OuO;; I know they're gonna love him but there's still a lil element of nerves there!!

Ahhhhh so much cat and doggo content I cry!!! So lovely! Also I love the idea of backstage gang working on puzzles during the show I wish Iโd done that during some of mine!! So fun!!
