- me and Ares went over to my friends Oly and Sien's place for a cozy little craft night! It was Oly, Sien, and Oly's sibling, and Sien taught Ares how to weave :D I brought some crochet to work on, but we started watching kpop videos and I got very distracted >:)
- also Sien and Oly have three perfect cats, and their lil Siamese named Ifa spent about 10 minutes rubbing her face on my feet like a WEIRDO
- I recently signed up for Ridwell! It's this subscription recycling service, where they pick up stuff that isn't curbside recyclable, and process it independently! they take stuff like multi-layered plastic (think chip bags, frozen food bags, bubble mailers), plastic film (cereal bags, the air pillow shipping cusions, etc), batteries, textiles, and light bulbs! and then every pick-up you can add on a specific specialty category, so for this pick-up, I did empty prescription bottles. my first pick-up is today, but it already helped me clean a bunch out of my closet and laundry room, so I'm really looking forward to trying it out
- got my nails done!! I get hybrid gel fake nails, cause they make it impossible for me to bite them, and I went for a nice punchy vermillion-adjacent red this go-around~
- I'm still on sleeve island with my Felix sweater...but I'm SOOO close to the finish line, I'm gonna do my best to cross it tonight!! I also got these extremely cute little crystal cat progress keepers to mark where my decreases go hehe
- I finally finished the Fontaine archon quests in Genshin Impact, and I thought Neuvilette wore thigh-high boots like Wriostheley, but he's wearing THIGH HIGH SPATS!!!! SLUT!!!
- My DnD campaign with Charlie, Liz, Zach, Ann, and PJ finished our first arc!! We have completed the Dragons of Stormwreck Isle module :D The final session was so emotionally tense and delicious and we're all so excited to keep adventuring with these characters :') we're currently trying to land on a name for our adventuring party..."The Dragoneers" currently seems to be our main consideration. I started crying as Francis during one roleplay moment and I was like "damn wow I am so attached to this little amnesiac pigeon"
- also, as Francis is a ranger, I took up the Beast Master subclass when we hit level 3, so now I have a giant badger named Ralph following me around, and this is how Ralph and Francis fell asleep on their first night together <33
- my friend Shanna had a reading of her new play, Quitessence of Dust, that she's been working on for the last 3.5 years -- me and my dear friend Zoe went, and it was SO GOOD and I cried and laughed and laughed and I couldn't believe that someone I knew had written this play, it was incredible. And several of my actor friends were in the reading!! And they did phenomenally!! It follows the weeks leading up to the premiere of Julius Caesar at The Globe Theatre, and the show itself is written in iambic pentameter (I believe), and it was amazing
- my very sweet amazing mod Molly bought me a new Girl Dinner Astarion shirt and it's so perfect, I love it so much
- Megan influenced me to get a Hobonichi Techo!! I've had it for a week and haven't really filled out any days yet, but I've been jotting tiny notes about what I did each day so I can go back and fill them out properly. This is my weird relationship with journalling...it is something that I genuinely think is fun/something I know I'm grateful to myself for doing down the road, but in the moment, it feels like a Chore That Must Be Done and that instantly makes me want nothing to do with it ?? it's why I fell off with bullet journaling. idk!! hopefully I'll find a way to do it regularly, cause I really splurged on this hardcover cat-themed Techo lmao
- Ares upgraded my computer!!! He split it over two days, cause he basically had to gut my entire case and put all the new hardware in, but now my computer is SILENT and runs so !! crispy and good!! and exporting videos takes half the time now!! and my graphics card is huge 0-0
- I got more little guys for my desk -- specifically, the "look up" figures of Megumi, Yuji, and Gojo from the anime Jujutsu Kaisen hehe. (no spoilers pls, I'm not caught up!!) they make me so happy every time I look at them, and they keep Phoenix and Chimmy and Edgeworth and George the Goose in good company <3
- I'm working on Ann's hat, and I'm using mohair for the first time and it's a bit of a pain to hold two strands together, but WOOOOW look at that fuzz!! and it's so soft!!
- I don't have any pictures of this, but I took a fun lil funky movement class last night led by my friend Sophia and it was so fun to move my body around and sweat a bit! I've been playing a LOT of video games lately, more so than usual it feels (I've been weirdly restless, so I usually just turn on a game as a default solution), and I've been a bit itchy about it, so I'm really happy I was able to dance a bit and also see some old friends :')
- and then some catto pics for you as a treat <33 Pepper and I fall asleep like that almost every night uwu

I have that same cat hobonichi in the weeks format! I use it for some habbit tracking. Then I have a hobonichi cousin as like a "proper" journal. I've not been great about keeping up with that one, but I figure the blank pages will just get to be home to some cute stickers and washi tape and fun scribbles at some point.

Ugh the relationship with journalling is SO REAL, like in retrospect I see how it improved my daily life and how much I benefit from it but in the time when I have to do it I suddenly dread it. What has helped me tho is just to cut myself some slack and not be so harsh on myself: it's important that I have the want to do it so I do the journalling at any point that I feel like (hence i use my notes since I got my phone on me all the time). Discipline ofc has to be implemented but I've found that over like 2 weeks or so I'm feeling like journalling throughout the day, maybe even a few times a day!

ahh you're the coolest cheyenne! i always love these little glimpses into your day to day, ty for sharing them. definitely interested to hear about your experience with ridwell if you keep using it! i've got a whole drawer dedicated to old lightbulbs and batteries that i would love to be rid of but can't justify just throwing them away! 😵
