little update
🕑 Added 2024-02-21 17:46:36 +0000 UTChi y’all!! i wanted to write a little update for the sake of full transparency — sophie has been on felimazole for her hyperthyroidism for 1.5 weeks now, and tho her behavior or appetite hasn’t changed, it’s made her diarrhea a lot worse, to the point where her stools are totally liquid. i know that felimazole takes about 3 weeks to start showing results, and diarrhea is a common side effect, but as you can imagine, i’m extremely worried!! she’s already only 7.2 lb and i want this medicine to ideally help her gain weight, not lost more of it.
this combined with the fact that my newish adderall dosage (went from 15mg to 20mg about two months ago) seems to be losing all efficacy (so my excutive dysfunction is at full power again) means that i am having a really hard time right now, more-so than i have in a long time. i’m only going to be able to do one podcast this month, but i’m trying to draw so i'll be able to get a sketchbook post out to y'all next week.
i’m trying to do as much work from my couch as i can to maximize cuddle time with soph!! she’s still as bite-y and eepy and perfect as ever, i just want her tummy to be okay TT

if you haven't already, I'd reach out to your dr or pharmacy.....I've seen a lot of people recently get Adderall that doesn't seem to do anything when they haven't had any problems in the past

Poor baby girl! If you haven’t tried it already and she will tolerate it / isn’t picky (like my gremlins are) you can add a little pumpkin to her food for breakfast which can help her poor tummy! It helps by firming everything up in there by adding more fibre! (1-2 tsps btw)
