I give you a very detailed update on my sweet Soph (again, sorry for so much talk about tummies and poop), talk about my emotional turmoil playing Persona 3, an upcoming trip I'm VERY EXCITED FOR, aaaaand...*drumroll please* I tell you about my new studio!!!!
Here are some pictures of the space as I toured it this morning (it is currently an esthetician's studio I believe):
Behind that little screen is a sink!!! The current tenant has it partitioned off really neatly, and I may do the same with my bookshelves...but my last studio didn't have a sink hook-up so it'll be nice to not have to walk to the bathroom to rinse my paintbrushes TT
I get the keys in two weeks, but I'll be moving in towards the end of March. And fear not!! I'll vlog the whole thing!! I wasn't expecting to find another studio space so soon, but I'm really grateful that I have and I'm excited to have a dedicated art/business space again :')

congrats on the studio!!! re: the macbook vs imac question, have you considered a mac mini? they're a lot more affordable and you could use it with your monitor and keyboard :) plus they're small enough to transport if you ever want to take it home. I thiiink they have the same specs as the imac too

Have you watched Frieren? It sounds a bit like the other anime you talked about (dnd/fantasy based). It’s very cozy fantasy, about an elf who has gone on adventures but has outlived her companions and how she sees the worlds differently because of that. Also the coloring in the opening sequence is GORGEOUS. Highly recommend if you want more fantasy anime after you finish the one you’re watching.

Love the studio / love the video option / opinion on last part of podcast maybe 1 podcast a month is your requirement but if your feeling like more sometimes then it’s just a bonus for you and us. Be more fluid with it, ride the waves of creativity / freedom of it like you’ve been doing? Just a thought. ❤️

So excited for the new studio! Also, have you thought about a Mac mini or Mac Studio to help solve that tech issue? You can use your own peripherals, too (and they’re easy to move around)! Either way, happy to hear Soph is doing better and hope you have fun in Cincinnati!

It’s hilarious how when you become a mom / or cat mom, the poop talk is just a normal day 😂 happy soph is better!!!! I get anxious about my cats too lol and kids— so i get it
