This amount of sentimentality is exactly what I love about your videos! I found you through your 'how much can I crochet in a week' vlog while looking for things to watch while crocheting myself-- and ended up going through your vlog playlist starting with right before you moved from your studio apt. I loved how sentimental, honest, and emotional you were, and actually loved the 45 min+ videos the best. Ones that have longer stuff with music and some ambience had me wishing there was more of the video. I don't know how realistic that is for you but, i would definitely love if you left the sketching part as is. Just some thoughts! <3

The change in aspect ratio feels really cool. Idk why but I like it. It is a little clunky on my tv, but so is everything on my tv. On my phone it’s real nice. I like it. Very excited for this vlog

I enjoyed it! (watched it on my first morning sleeping in a new flat, it was very cozy). And I think if this style something you're having fun with, that's a good thing to follow for as long as you feel inspired by it. Exploring things you're excited by seems like the best way to avoid getting burnt out!

so my bars weren’t black, they were gray-ish. i looked around in settings and i had “ambient mode” on for some reason and i think it looks better now with solid black bars!

yeah, that's what I feared -- I imagine there's the two large black bars on either side of the video...that'll be the nature with this aspect ratio, unfortunately. Hmmmm I'll keep thinking about it. fixing the aspect ratio won't be too hard if needs be!

i think the coloring and the added film grain is very nice, but watching this on my phone the aspect ratio isn’t my favorite. on full screen mode there’s the huge bars on the side of the video that’s distracting. the format may be better suited for desktop vs phone. also the music you chose is very lovely!
