I would guess the later since it would thematically. Moreover this can transition into some kind of nation building story when they get to the saya home which I would dig as well. Civilisation has basically reset in this setting

Seemed a bit too dragged out since the whole chapter was basically just shido death and nothing else happened. Still thx for the chapter since I love this story ❤️

There goes Shido. Kinda suspected he would die soon he was never a threat to Cu, but that makes me wonder what the real threat is going to be. Unless this is going to be a very short story something else must change from the original HOTD. Is a Beast going to show up, or will the Zombies themselves change into something much, much worse (Resident Evil Style)?

Wasn't expecting Shido to go out so soon but given Cus personality it makes sense. Also Lucky for Miku, hope saving her wont cause Cu too much trouble given how she practically worships Shido.
