E2 Survey Review - Part 11

1) Large harem (9+ girls) - 53%
2) Monogamous relationship (1 girl) - 46%
3) Throuple (2 girls) - 44%
4) 1 serious girl, casual w others - 41%
5) Small harem (3 girls) - 37%
6) Medium harem (4-8 girls) - 36%
7) No relationship, just casual sex - 19%
(These % don't add up to 100 because you could vote for more than one)
There was also the option to specify any other ending and from that we have a lot of people specifying a Tashley throuple, a few wanting a super big harem of all 18 girls and also quite a few asking for a solo Dr Riley ending. Also some other things written here such as ending the game as a virgin ahah (bodycount 0) and this was originally going to be an achievement in the game but I'm not sure if I do want to keep that or not lol. Also don't ask me what "Allergic to bee sting" means... I'm extremely confused by this lol.
But with this data the first thing that I found weird was how despite the large harem being the top desired ending, the small/medium harem are two of the least desired. So it's kinda weird - there isn't a basic correlation of more girls = more desired. But maybe the data is skewed by the options I've presented. It's just very surprising to me how the medium sized harem is so low. I might find a way to ask this question again in future with slightly different options/ wording to verify this data but regardless all of the options I've written will be endings in some form or another.

i know harem routes aint all that realistic to most but they do remove some pressure and tension if you suffer from anxiety for stupid reasons like i do.. the 'illusion' of not wanting to hurt anyone is greatly made better when you can go after who you like without the real world worrys while playing such games.. the real world sux enough at times hense why we enjoy this escapism in VNs like this

Thanks for this but don't worry - the things I'm happy to change from surveys are small things like whether people prefer POV or third person kissing shots. I won't ever change the core themes of the game based off survey responses but they're always useful to help me understand people's perceptions

Dev, I really like that you are using surveys and questionnaires to gauge player interest but I think they should not drive your game. You should follow your own artistic vision and not just keep tinkering with every bit and cranny to try to make it desirable to everyone ( a fools errand). I know too many great VNs that went down the drain because they followed too much patron demands. Patron demands are sometime nonsensical and want instant gratification in expense of story and plot. I hope you do your own thing.

A bit exagerated (WVM is very cringe), but most good Harem games have various endings (solo girl, partial roster harem, full roster harem). Take Once in a Lifetime or Fetish Locator as an example of multiple endings with possibilities of Harem.

Let me explain the harem thing. When players want harems, most want huge harems, ridiculous levels like the WVM game where you fuck everything and it's stupid and nonsensical. It's not as common for players to want a cap on the harem membership. But with choices being important in this game, having the option of dedicated monogamous ending types is also desirable, so that comes in second. And then you have the threesome thing because it's awesome, and it's probably because players experienced the Josy Maya pairing in Being A DIK.
