Dev Update #34

E3 Development:
Development is progressing very well but I'm still slightly behind my schedule (about a day still). I was hoping to be right on schedule this week as I was also a day behind last week but I'm actually super happy with how this week has gone because I've done so much and I could quite easily have fallen much further behind. There's a lot I'm very happy with in E3 and also a lot I'm a little nervous about. One of the things I'm a bit nervous about is this little comedic segment which is very bizarre and if you saw some of these images out of context you would be extremely confused... Low key terrified someone will use one of these renders in a negative review lmao.
Public Releases:
Someone commented asking about Android & Public releases so I'll answer this here. As for a public release for E3, I'm not planning to do this in the immediate future. I could make this post into an extremely long rant about how much I've been struggling financially but I don't like talking about that and I doubt you would enjoy listening. The bottom line is that my Patreon subs are the greatest people in the world and are everything to me. They're the only reason this is possible and to be frank, I need quite a lot more subs than I currently have.
Regardless, I will most likely make a public version of E3 and probably E4 and possibly even E5 but this will most likely be when the episode after enters early access. So for a public release for E3 - this would be around April/when E4 is complete. If you would like to play E3 in December, please consider subscribing - as far as I'm aware my Patreon structure is pretty economical :)
Android Releases:
As for android versions, I thought I talked about this super recently but I checked for far down you'd have to scroll and it's far enough to warrant writing this again. An android version for Elmwood will be my top priority once I've released E3. Honestly, I don't know how to make an android version because I haven't done it before so I can't say how long it will take me but I doubt it will be that difficult so I would hope to be able to release an Android version in December as well but we'll see.

Just increased my contribution amount as I really want to see you be able to get the entire game across the finish line. Hopefully once E3 releases you'll at least get an influx of Bronze members. And if you really need the money then I don't think anyone would blame you for withholding public releases - you should be getting paid for your work!

Yeah this is definitely my long term target, looking at putting episodes 1-7 on steam when episode 7 is on the horizon

They say that getting your game on STEAM is a great financial benefit. Hope that works, eventually anyway.
