The Heistess Returns
🕑 Added 2021-11-27 00:57:18 +0000 UTCThe Heistess was a notorious and extremely clever thief suspected of committing some of the most daring criminal capers of the mid-20th Century. Her exploits frequently caused her to cross paths with Amazon Arrow and Dartgirl, but the Dynamic Daredolls were never able to put The Heistess behind bars. The Heistess possessed a unique moral code that earned her allies and enemies on both sides of the law. She went out of her way to avoid taking lives, and she would occasionally aid Amazon Arrow and Dartgirl when they faced more unscrupulous villains (though Dartgirl always suspected that The Heistess was merely exploiting the opportunity to get her competitors out of the way).
The Heistess retired shortly after the tragic death of Dartgirl in 1974, but when Dartgirl inexplicably returned to the public eye in the early 21st Century, many of her Silver Age associates and adversaries were inspired to return as well. This new Heistess appears to be even younger than the original Heistess when she was in her prime. Is she perhaps the granddaughter of the original? Or is she merely a copycat attempting to gain notoriety by adopting The Heistess's infamous costume and moniker?
