Orctober Chess Challenge - Black Knight B8
🕑 Added 2021-10-07 19:00:09 +0000 UTCIf white knights are centaurs (Centorks?) black knights are wolf riders. These dudes are ready to jump around the chessboard and wreak havoc. Armor design suggested by my patron Chameleon Knight.
Oh boy, this piece required me much more work than a daily challenge should. But yeah, two subjects, I had to go back and study actual wolf anatomy for a while, and also don't let it cover the figure of the orc entirely.
For the first time I felt kind of confident with the brushes. Sure, I've completely fucked up the original scale of values homogenizing everything with the shadows, but I'm getting better.
I should work on a couple of pawns now, just to relax.
