AuralAudacity ASMR

OMGOMGOMGOGM 22:12 looks EXACTLY LIKE MY BABY MARBLE!!! awwww so cute

AuralAudacity ASMR

glad Im not the only one who hates using thimbles!!!

Stacey Jelley

The Professor is a delight!

Linda

I can't wait to make this pillow!!! just ordered the fabric from Fashionfabricsclub. Much cheaper than Joanne's.

Lydia

This was amazing! I don’t know how good at it Id be because I haven’t sewn that much, but I’ll certainly try

Rebecca Petrowsky

I’m trying to make these now! I have different sized pillows and different fabric so hopefully they turn out!

Lauren Downard

These pillows are gorgeous, really make me feel inspired to make my own. I love how your animals love to get involved with the creations too. Please keep posting, I love your work!

Megan

You can find it on her YouTube channel.

Tadgh Kirby

Hi Christine. Would it be possible for you to upload this episode in a different format to Vimeo. For some reason, this episode won't play correctly, regardless of what I try to do. It's playing for a few seconds and then buffering repeatedly but never progressing, despite no other issues with any streaming or download services that I use. It seems to be an issue with Vimeo itself and I can't seem to figure it out. As I said, all my other video and game streaming services are working fine. No issues with connection. I really want to watch it, especially now that the patterns are here. :/

Emma Jane

hey christine, do you have the patterns for these pillows? thanks!!

Karen

Thanks!

Sarah Bear

Thanks for the advice! I've been taking notes so I can get a few different kinds. :)

Kelley Hines

Silamide thread! It’s a waxed nylon thread that’s very strong and would be great for a project like this.

MichelleShari

you just need cotton musliln

Pensrae

No problem :D. I did forget to mention a couple of things though: 1. If you know you’re going to be doing a project that calls for a good amount of ironing it will probably be better to use polyester thread rather than nylon. The polyester won’t be quite as durable as the nylon but the nylon has a higher chance of melting under the iron. 2. There are two types of nylon thread that I know of. One has a normal thread texture and the other is... basically fishing line I haven’t machine sewed with either but I’m betting it’s better to lean towards the one that isn’t like fishing line. Sorry for not mentioning those points sooner. I didn’t think about it because I’ve only used nylon thread for small hand sewing projects so far.

Jess

When or where can we get a pattern for the pillows? I have trouble understanding the measurements and need written or drawn out instructions.

Karen

This was so fun! Can you mention what type of fabric you use for the pillow inserts? Thanks! 💜

Kori Brittain

Can someone tell me how you access the extras? (t2 subscriber, but this is my first subscriptions so new to patreon in general)

Aunt Debbie Halloween

Sewing with kitties! The couch pillows are beautiful - thank you for the tutorial! It looks like you've started subtracting the precious furnishings that you are going to take with you.

Aimee G

A lot of work, but oh so pretty! And Prof. Poof was adorable the entire time.

Monica Adams

Love these pillows. Thank you for making and showing us how to make them.

Sarah Bear

Thanks for the tip!

Pensrae

If you’re looking for durable you could try nylon thread. You can even get clear nylon thread if you don’t want to have to worry about color matching.

Sarah Bear

This is something I always wanted to do but alas lack that talent to figure out a pattern. Soooo glad you will be providing one for us, I'm already looking for fabrics I want to use. Btw, will you be giving us a supply list? I tried to write down what i might need as i watch the video but didn't know if i was missing anything..... I'm also curious as to know what thread works best, most of the thread i own seems very weak in comparison.

Alfreda Payton

OOH! That first smocked pillow is gorgeous!! All are fantastic.

Alfreda Payton

Kitty will not move. Nope. You gotta ball him up and move him🐱

Celeste Young

I'd love to see a bloopers video of the cuts of you getting irate with the animals helping. 4 minutes of "DAMMIT POOF" ;)

Brooke Cochran

I literally fell asleep last night thinking about how to make a pillow like this! Mind reader!

Brenda Hunt

The couch looks amazing!! I Love learning from your videos!!

Sara Estridge

I bought a pillow almost identical to the pink smocked one! I was picking it apart trying to figure out how to recreate it 😂 😂 well now I have a guide! I will say I’m impressed with how accurate a pattern I was coming up with on my own!

Alexiel Shinigami

This is kinda random, but have you gotten your monthly photos (for tier 3 and up?)

Carlota Vilà

Hi! I've just signed to your pattreon, and I would love to know where can I find the pattern for that beautiful apron you did. Your work is amazing 🥰

Dawn Eldred

I finished the dress! Great video to watch while sewing ribbons and lace. Not sure I can post a pic here, but I will tag you on Instagram.

Mark Rimmell

Very pleased that you have shared the creation. I admired them in your sofa video. We have already made a start.... Unfortunately we don't currently have a cat to help but when I turned my back for 5 minutes I found our dog was doing his best to help.

Sherrie Potgieter

YAY!!!!

Laurie Jewell

Beautiful work! Professor Poof is so cute, I can' stand it! Loved Gertie's little drive-by cameo, as well!

Tanya Madrick

I work in upholstery in nyc, do consider using raw cotton & wool as softish fills. Dacron will smush within weeks, therefore it’s great as a temporary fill, or as a compliment to another firmer material. If you want to add some weight, I have a completely organic secret I can share with you...I loved this video, truly lovely work as always!

Carolinian Classroom

Totes

Christine McConnell

Thank you SO much Sherrie! The scarecrow WILL be included in the pattern! :D

Christine McConnell

I want to see this when you’re done!

Christine McConnell

I agree and wish there was a perfect way to do everything. Plastic isn’t ideal, but I prefer it over the alternative :D

Carolinian Classroom

Lovely video and I really appreciate your conscientious statement at the end. I will suggest my own opinion, which is worth whatever you want to take from it, that reusing (washed) vintage down when already available may be preferable, from an overall kindness to animals and the earth perspective, to throwing it away and replacing it with a non-biodegradable virgin petroleum product. Following your conscience as you learn is always hard but a great path to follow. There aren’t any great answers to the global problem of resource management, humanitarianism, and waste, unfortunately.

Terry L. Steffen

I love your little helpers! 🐈🐕‍🦺

Dawn Eldred

Happy birthday!

Dawn Eldred

Perfect for watching during my snow day while I finish this 1890s ballgown costume!

Clare Buswell

They turned out so pretty, I love how sumptuous they look. Those smocked cushions are soo fabulous! I love how you dyed the fabric a darker shade for the piping too, such a great idea! Your animal friends are so adorable! Thanks for your hard work!

Sherrie Potgieter

Yes, I agree with Ellerie. Please share your scarecrow with us.....and Christine? I am completely awed by you. God has given you so many talents and gifts and you are so, inspiring. I love each and every post and wait patiently for the next. What brand of embroidery needles do you use?

Ellerie “Sit in Your Tears” Maddox

Christine, when you share your music downloads and recipes and patterns for this month, would you please consider sharing a printable of your little scarecrow?

Ellerie “Sit in Your Tears” Maddox

I have been obsessing over that scarecrow since the first episode!

Hali & Taylor Baird

Would you be able to post the makeup list from the giveaway you did a few months back?

Violet

These are so divine! And that scarecrow pillow is to die for. I'd love to try embroidering it in a hoop.

Tanya Madrick

Have you posted the recipes for the chocolates yet?

Sarah Kane

This has honestly been one of my favourite episodes so far! Those cushions are so beautiful and I am now way less intimidated by the idea of making my own, loads of professor poof and the gang 😍 and it makes me so happy to hear you say you're looking into non animal based alternatives ❤️

Rebekah Cadman

They look amazing. The first cushion (made bigger) would make an amazing floor cushion/foot rest.

Marielle Bodenheimer

I will definitly give this a try! Also, Christine, what sewing machine are you using?

Adrienne Young

This video is PERFECTION! One of my smocked pillows has recently come undone and now I'll know how to fix it. =) Plus, BONUS content of Poof and WereWoof and Gerdie= best video to date! ❤

Paulette Mickle

Your vintage pillow is absolutely gorgeous, the work and detail you put into it is beyond stunning! You put so much heart and soul into your creations that you continue to amaze and inspire me each and every time 💝 Can’t wait to see what awaits next, Have a wonderful evening, Christine 😊

Lily

Happy Birthday! 🥳

Vicky Fox

This inspired me to open up my Mum's embroidery basket she gave to me right before she passed. There's a pack of needles that were bought in March 1965. That was the last errand she did before she had me :)

Monique Nicole

Fantastic! I'm in love with your cats too, they make me giggle when they're playing...and can't forget Gerdie (sp?).

Dana Beaufait

I want to make this bigger as a sitting pouf the velvet texture would be so pretty! what should I stuff it with to make it a bit more firm? Research time! lovely Thank you

Caitlyn ODonnell

I love watching your fur babies help!!! Also that scarecrow pillow is stunning 😍

Nicholas Frig

I am SO GLAD you did this! Lol. Since I saw those pillows you did for the couch I fell for them and was hoping we would get a tutorial. On top of that the scarecrow pillow is amazing! You nailed it again, Christine!

Brittany Paulson

Oh man your poor fingers. They turned out so beautiful though!

Andrea Moore

LOVE the furry assistants! As I was watching this one of my cats saw Professor P and started pawing the screen. 😸

Summer Rose Barnes

This is fantastic! My sister just got a new place, I just got a new sewing machine; I think this is a perfect project for a house warming gift😁

melissa
