You inspired us to take it down and my husband oiled it and cleaned it and now it is in our living room and ticking and it is nice to have it going again! The chime is so beautiful.. I believe the clock is from the 1930’s or 1940’s. My dad remembered the clock when he was a child....

I use Daiya shredded cheddar. You have to be careful with "plant-based" cheeses sometimes because they can have Whey or Casein slipped in which are both milk proteins. I wouldn't overdo it on this kind though because if it starts "globbing" it can get gross. Lighter sprinkles are better.

I love Silence of the Lambs but I don’t care for any of the movies that came after. That being said, the series they did called Hannibal is amazing. I’ve watched it through several times. It is magic. It’s 3 seasons and currently on netflix I believe. Check it out! I think you would love it.

Christine, I wanted to tell you that when I was younger I lived somewhat near to the building in the movie that housed Hannibal Lecter.. a group of friends and I actually went into it once it was abandoned & condemned to ghost hunt, we were not really allowed per say lol oops but it was so beautiful and creepy we couldn't resist.. also so cool that it was used in this movie!

I used to live in a small village that had a train track run through it. There's nothing so eerie as seeing the crossing signs going off when they malfunction and there is no train comjng or the train itself blowing in the distance. There was just so little noise that the sudden interruption of the silence would be magically spooky.

I totally understand the doll superstition. My grandma gave me a doll when I was about 8yo, it looked just like me. Then she died, I always wished she was with me, and I started to feel like I had her trapped from R.I.P. Now I know that's ridiculous, I'm a rational person, but I thanked the doll and damaged it so it couldn't return. COMPLETELY superstitious, but it made me feel a lot better. I am so excited for the wall paper video, I'm glad you don't do things the easy, tech way, I don't have that option, and learn from watching. Seeing you do it gets me thinking up all kinds of little projects, though I don't have a house lol.

It's almost 4am here, so not sure I'll be up in 6 Hours to join in, but SotL was on TV the other night, and I watched it because I'd never seen it before. Lol I watched it after The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel because I was frozen in the one spot from terror; I have C-PTSD and can't enjoy scary things like I used to. I thought, because SotL was old, it wouldn't be too scary, but I was not correct. Also, last Halloween when Christine made SotL chocolates (so talented...) she commented that she wanted to make to Moth-Skull more realistic; I got the impression she thought the Skull was badly drawn? But I wanted to share - because most people don't know - that Skull is an orchestration of female-bodies designed to look like a Skull. It's an Art-Piece photo by Salvador Dali. "In Volupta... something. He must have been quite on the Absinthe. Anyway, good night for now! Might catch you for the stream, might not.
