For example, in Duluth, MN, the beautiful Glensheen mansion is maintained by the university. I help out at a cat rescue... we always treat our cats with herpes with lysine. Its a powder that you can buy at most online petshops that you mix in with their food. There is also an eye ointment for it that any vet should be able to perscribe

Christine, have you ever embellished/refurbished a existing picture frame? I found a beautiful picture at a thrift store that goes perfectly in my living room, but the frame is the wrong color. Surprisingly, I cannot find any tutorials on YouTube on how to do this. I am currently trying to use furniture refurbishment tutorials to do this. Once I was gone for over a week, and when I got home, my cat True Love ran over to me started climbing up my legs and I hugged him and snuggled him (he was purring) then he leaned back eyes squinted at me with his ears back, and then slapped my face with his paw (claws in thankfully). Then let me snuggle him some more. He let me know he felt about my absence. (He wasn't home alone. He had my dad lol)

I'm a vegetarian and would love more plant-based (vegan) recipes. I'm sure people can just substitute any vegan butter, egg-replacements, etc. with non-vegan ones. You can't really screw up a cookie.

Keeping plants alive! I, too, am a serial plant killer. But they are beautiful and such mood lifters, so let me suggest the Planta app. You tell the app what plant you have in what room of your house (the room is important because you tell the app how many hours of light the room gets in a day). Then Planta reminds you when to water each plant! It has completely changed my life- I now can be a crazy plant lady with NO effort!

I get such a strong reaction to poison ivy I can’t even eat mangos! I love to garden though, so after I spend some time in the yard I wipe down myself and any tools I use with a little rubbing alcohol to breakup the oil and then wash with soap. If you don’t let the oil sit on your skin you won’t get a reaction. Leaves of three, let it be. Once you get the eye for it you will be able to avoid it. There are also removal and inspection services for poison ivy. Hope you can feel comfortable getting back to gardening! Thanks for all the inspiration!

About orbs...in 2006-7 (ish), I was at home alone during the day in one of my bedrooms which opens onto a hallway with a stairway leading upstairs. It was mid-morning, so the sun was shining from the upstairs window down to the bottom of the stairway. I exited the bedroom and stopped short because I saw an orb shape in the hallway at the bottom of the stairs. It was much larger than any dust speck....I think reaching for it with my hand would place it roundly in my palm. But I was too far away for that. What happened next (and all of this happened in a matter of a few seconds) is that the orb stopped quickly....surprised by me? A second orb came right behind it and bumped into the first one. They seemed surprised to have found me standing there, and quickly continued through the living room doorway. Dust specks don’t stop short and bump into one another, do they? The second orb even backed up before they both quickly floated out from my view. I have not seen anything like it since. I didn’t feel scared. I felt a bit like, sorry! I didn’t mean to interrupt....go play! It was happy.

So as a chick who is super duper allergic to poison ivy, I keep my eyes out for “Leaves of 3” that have scalloped edges, and sort of look lacquered. Usually growing low on the ground, can grow under other plants as well. You also do NOT want to burn it, because it’s possible to get poison ivy in your lungs! Most of the time growing up, my dad would throw it in the brush pile and let it decay. With gloves, of course!Good luck! Also, someone mentioned an idea of touring your dressing room, you should totally do a tour of all your favorite dresses that you’ve made and collected over the years! I think it could also be fun if you did themed “mini videos” of your favorite tips, tricks, tools for the months activity. Obviously within reason-you are a very busy lady of the manor! I say that because I started buying pretty, inexpensive pie dishes for when I make pies after your Apple Pie video🖤 You give lots of good tips and tricks as a hostess, thank you! You’re the best, keep it spooky and stay away from that poison ivy! 👻🖤
