I have been trying to make the Tarantula cookies from the Deceptive Desserts book but I cannot get the legs to stick. I have royal icing everywhere. Like probably there is some downstairs and I haven't been down there but I know at this rate it is down there. The legs just wont stick. Is there a certain brand of royal icing that is better or some top secret I could be let in on. I'm going to buy caramels tomorrow to try but I just wanted to see if I could crack the code on how to make royal icing turn into edible glue.
