If you tackle this project before the next episode, hold on to your shavings :D I have the most fun idea of how I'm finishing this, but it's going to take me some time, so the next episode should be coming in late July
Hope you love this and I'll see you soon!

You were a secretary and now here you are doing amazing creations! Dreams do take time
Tracy
OMG, Christine, I just have to mention how utterly magical that grandfather clock is, and how fantastic that such a knowledgeable craftswoman exists to restore it!
Corbin Vickers
Oh, what happened to this episode? I wanted rewatch it
BL Gates
Anyone tackling this project might want to add in a traced profile silhouette on flat cardboard in addition to the main tracing. Keep that taped on the wall, check your dress form shaping against the side profile as you go. Doesn't replace actual measurements towards the end, but could help in those early stages as you try to get the overall shape how you want. Especially the more 3D areas.
Joseph Bailey
wouldn’t it be fun to do a spooky stained glass project! Fun recipe segment could be Victorian milk punch to serve at your holiday parties. Victorian hair art…
Sophia Santini
One of the coolest ways I’ve ever seen someone make a dress form!
Tammy Nunn
Hello Christine, I know your wrist gives you a lot of problems. Maybe invest in a good wrist support and utilize it when doing these very repetitive movements. Hoping it can help. Catching up on your videos in anticipation of the coming holidays! Thank you for all you do!
Elizabeth Goans
Thank you so much! I cant wait to tackle this!
Kristen Jarvis
This did not disappoint! You truly are incredibly talented. While I have no intention of making a dress form, I now know that I could following your tutorial.
Kitty Lang
Another mesmerizing episode!! You are a creative genius Christine! I’m so excited to see the next episode. Ps. That grandfather clock is Dreamy!
Annalise
I'm a little late to this party. I saved it longer than I should, because I like having something to look forward to! I was not disappointed. Brilliant episode! I can't wait for part 2! I don't believe I'll hold off for the second one. I have to watch as soon as you post . Loved this so much!!
Stephy Stardust
You should get an electric carving knife! It makes a world of a difference for cutting cardboard. Especially for curves and corners. I was killing my hand with scissors for the longest time, and using a the electric carving knife cuts down the cutting time significantly .
Peaches McDrools
Only you Christine can mold old cardboard in the shape of a goddess!!!!
Eskie Momo
Whenever you do these big complicated projects, my partner, Emily, and I always say the same thing each time - 'this is crazy!' We're constantly in awe.
janet lynn white
How weird do I sound to say I play these videos as background noise when Im working because of the soothing nature of Christine's vibe. I find it provides me elegant patience and slows down my urgency. This woman could sift soil and make it gold.
Sarah Miller
Thank you <3
Emily Schwall
Yes!!! The sounds of Christine McConnell. Just her talking and her crafting sounds
Alyson Groom
You videos are so calming. Like ASMR almost. It was making me sleepy listing. I loved it. Maybe you should make some ASMR but with your normal voice, not whispering.

I know you have spoken about how you would like to make your own coffin. I found this book recently and thought that maybe it can offer inspiration, or clear up any issues that may arise.
Crystal Pistal
I always get so surprised when you do projects in your house that get really dusty! How do you tackle the clean up for all of that?
Sam Hussey

This is one of the coolest things I’ve seen, cannot wait to see the next episode ❤️
Kaitlyn Fields
I wear those sizes as well. I wondered if in our cases if it would be beneficial to enlist help to do a mold of our own bodies, and then use a spray foam of some sort so it wouldnt be extremely heavy, but sturdy. Then from there add a protective layer of some sort.
Roimata Ness
Wow, another great video! And also a shout out to the clock goblin- what amazing work!!
Carrie
Thanks so much, Christine. I am excited to shop these collections!

Karmell Mazurek
a lot of work lol
Rebecca Kettle
I am blown away by this and your talent! So different and creative! I can’t wait for the next episode :)
Kozmoe Ditch
Amazing
Tammy R Dowden
How very cool! I work in a nursing home kitchen, and twice a week, we get our grocery orders in for the facility, so I will have a steady supply of boxes to start stocking up on. (I'm fuller-figured, so it's going to take a LOT of boxes!) ;-)
Shayla
Wow- amazing job. It was fun to see how realistic the form became. I never thought to sculpt with cardboard. Labour intensive but inexpensive and better for the environment. Good safety tips too. Thank you, Christine!
Andie
Wowzers AMAZEBALLS! This looks complicated but I think probably with a dremel tool all things are possible. I wonder how many RPM's was your dremel/router tool? I would hate to burn out a dremel. LOL I can't wait to see the following episodes. The most complicated bits might be getting the Silhouette done if you are Sola Chola or just prefer working without relying on others?
Pamela Kay
What a great video! The dress form is awesome! Worth the wait for sure......always love what you do! Thank you for being such an inspiration and instructor!!
Kuro Kaiju
I adore you so much and your ideas. Can't wait to try them out when I can! 🥰🖤
Krissy Smith
That turned out so amazing! I really want to do this one but Wowzers :-) Going to definitely ask the Hubby for lots of help on this!
Pennie Yorke
Hecks no! It's beautiful and I'm so happy you did this, but too messy for me!
Colleen Diane Sakane
WOW! This turned out incredibly, Christine!! I kind of want to try this but, I kind of don't! LOL! Rachel Kilgore from The Clock Goblin, you are awesome!!

Holy mittens of Satan, this is extraordinary.

Amazing as always! 😍
Sonja Corterier
amazing, I should have known that you would find a much more complex way than the ducktape version ;)
Abbey Casian
You never cease to amaze me. Every project is always jaw dropping !
Anvil Ande'
Hey! Are you planning on rereleasing your wonderful first cookbook? Mine "got lost" after my sister helped me move!!!
Celiana Holst

Omg the grandfather clock is outstanding! I'm salivating. I hope there will be a longer episode dedicated to it!!
Lillith
I'll do my best! Lol.
Kitty Baumont
yes do it and share it!
Abigail Wildes
look for Free Moving Boxes on places like facebook marketplace and craigslist. Also if you have a recycling center that's where I've always gotten most of mine. ;)
leather Nevarez
This is one of the best projects I've seen. Simply marvelous. It looked like a work of art and I just wanted to touch the figure after carving. The texture...WOW1
Lorraine Donaldson

Lorraine Donaldson

Meg Hesness

Claudette Marco
It looks like an AI, unreal 👍

My husband on the part where you talked about having the mirror in the room to reference against "Shape that ass, *Mimes looking in mirror* but watch yourself Shape that ass *Mimes glance over shoulder at mirror* show me what you workin with Shape that ass, watch yourself Shape that ass'
Lillith
I have been saving cardboard for months for this video. I am ready to begin. I wonder if I should record it...
Christine Papio
Very creative! It looks like a lot of painstaking work just getting all the cardboard pieces aligned and sculpted the right way. I like how the final product is beautiful but a little twisted, just like many of your creations :)
Caroline Kappler
Is there anything you can't do? 😳 I'm impressed as always! Great work! Can't wait to see the next episode!
Ryan McFadden
I’m constantly amazed at how you can take something simple and turn it into this stunning work of art. It already looks so neat and I love how the cardboard almost mimics wood grain. Can’t wait to see the next part. Also, I feel like Amazon should sponsor you for all the boxes you used 😄

Amazing work, Christine.
Christine McConnell
I've never heard of this and it's a FANTASTIC idea!!! I'm going to see if there's one local to me :D
Mji X
If Christine needs about 60 cardboard cutouts for her dress form, that means I'll need at least 180 or so...
Gabriel
Wow. What a creative project. The dress form looks a work of art! I can't wait to see part 2 of this project. Incredible work, Christine!
Tanya Madrick
My friend is making a Victorian dollhouse, she normally works in film & that’s what she does between projects. Her insane attention to detail reminds me of you. Her IG page is The Wicked Mansion.
Madeleine Ytterberg
This is great! I love the idéa of an dressform that will be a complete copy of yourself, can´t wait to see the finished result!
Ruthie Coltrane
I’m wondering where I get this many boxes. Also am thankful for once for only being 5 foot tall. 😁
Paige Phoa
Blown away. This is beyond cool.
Beto
girl you just made a copy of yourself out of cardboard! Can you adopt me! I will be another captive! lol Slay Kween!
Alaskan Rock Vodka
Wonderful! C so great to see this Can't wait for ep 2. 🥂
Bonnie Coniguliaro
ASTONISHING
Nora Dallaire
A quick suggestion for people doing this on the cheap- I know Ottawa has a "Tool Library" where you can rent tools, power and otherwise, and it's phenomenal. You can borrow such specific tools for just a weekend, a week, whatever. I'm sure the same kind of programs must exist in other big cities, right? It could be cool to look into in people's area!
Kelly Fisher
Amazing work I don't know what patience pills you are taking, but I want some... I can not do this it will end up in my half done over it pile.. but it's is am amazing idea.... Also I purchased a dress form and it cost to much I think I should use it . Lol
Peggy
Thank you so much for this. I've been waiting for it since it was first mentioned 💜
Adrianne Berndt
I was sitting there thinking "do it, go ahead, you know you want to, you're a cat, it's your job" lol
Adrianne Berndt
I actually think the "in steps" aspect of this project makes it a lot more manageable and practical than other DIY dress form methods I've seen. Not that those aren't great too but it seems easier to get something more anatomically accurate to take it slowly and build up/carve away rather than rely on a perfect mold and pour or duct tape from getting wonky. I also like that I can cut the pieces out then have them sitting there as motivation to finally buy a Dremel tool X'D
Elsa
I'm always amazed by your creativity and skills! Thank you for sharing with us!
Joanne Zaborowski
This is not at all what I expected either but it is so intriguing to see it all come together. I can imagine the decorative touches will be very beautiful. Though I find this daunting I am sure there will be a kindred project I could get inspired for that I would not have had the courage to undertake without watching this.! Wow... just amazing to see it all become! Thank yo so much!🌏🌍🌎🌷
Amber Green
This was absolutely incredible!!! I wish I had an ounce of your creativity and patience. You are phenomenal!
WestcottWitch
Let me just say that I agree with everything others have already said, and do want to add, though that your videos are so incredibly detailed and information packed that I enjoy watching them multiple times. This time I noticed your brown and blue patterned dress matches your eyes and hair! :) I also loved that extra special clock themed music accompanying the final reveal. Excellence all around, once again. Thank you Christine.
Angela Pearson
Yay! Thank you for the Girdy glamor shot 🥰 This was really intimate and I felt like a borderline creep watching you sculpt out your body 😄 On the plus side I know what I want to be when I grow up - a clock goblin! Thank you for an amazing episode, enjoy your break and visit! I'm looking forward to the pretty bits
Bernadette Vaughan
Poof knocking the marker off the sill!! 😂
Magdalena Mojica
You always put your heart into your work. Amazing job, it's way better than anything you could ever buy.
Nelia Torres
Look up Veritee Hill on Instagram. She custom made all my corsets. She's INCREDIBLE! Tell her I sent you.
jena meeks
Oh my God - why did I think this was going to be a simplified silhouette for the dress form -- it is Christine! haha I love it!!! I do not feel so confident about my hand/sand sculpting abilities...Surely I am not the only designer here - does a rhino 3d model made into contour or waffle structure seem less full of deformities for those of us with less skill or...confidence? lol I am so excited to see this finished -- BRAVO!
Lynn
I wanted to ask you when did you know that you were extraordinarily gifted at arts and crafts? At what age did it all begin for you? Was it all self taught? You have such an amazing, creative mind. Again, I'm in awe of you.
Vilma Valančiūnaitė
Wow, this came out right before my birthday and It was the perfect gift a girl could ask for <3 I don't think I have seen you make anything I didn't like :D thank you for being a continuous source of inspiration
Jenna Homan
Have you tried Redthreaded? I know they have a lot of really high quality corsets of different historical eras.
Dawn Hargy-Louden
This looks incredible! At the end I was like omg metropolis!
Rose
I'm beyond excited about this!! I can't wait to try and recreate it! I can't wait for clothing tutorials too!! Thank you so much for sharing all this with us! Cheers!
Sanna
LOVE this! Love! Was close to buying a "sew it yourself" pattern for a dressform just yesterday but loathed the thought of buying all the fabrics and sewing it together... This was a good fairy-send! I have tons of boxes loitering around just waiting to be bunched up and made use of *_* THANK you Christine McConnell!
Sanna
What a great idea @Summer Rose Barnes! Hope you work it out, would be so cool =)
Shannon Hogue
Where did you find your corset? I have been looking for traditional foundation wear but all i can find is cheap almost costume like stuff.
Tara Belle
this human is like the most mesmerizing artist ever...i love these videos so much
Suzie
Thank you, Chrisi! :) i’ve managed to get it working now! I hope you enjoy it!
Chrisi
So i reloaded Patreon a couple of times and the video showed up, hope that helps :)
Diane Lewandowski
It looks amazing already! I can’t wait to sink my teeth into this project myself!
Chrisi
The video is not showing up for me at all ether. Only the blurb :(
Peter Driessens
i find your vids very fascinating and relaxing to view, as a 1001 creative craftsman myself i can relate with the stuff/ projects that you do. Always something different and it never gets boring. Plus i like your style very much :-)
Suzie
I can’t access it, is anyone else having issues?
Amanda Boldreghini
This is incredible! I do not have the time to do this at the moment but what a great resource! I love that its an upcycling project. Thanks Christine this is amazing and I'm really looking forward to the next video. Thanks for all you do!
Katie
I am already so excited for the next episode!!! So curious what is happening with all the sawdust!
Rachel Guy-Whittle
That’s incredible - and also slightly weird as I feel like I’ve somehow inadvertently seen you nude in cardboard form haha!
Wendy Litteral
Oh yay! Looking forward to this one.
Cecelia Breslin
You never do anything by halves do you!?! Only you could make a dress form a piece of art! Looking forward to part two.
DMCM
I’m so looking forward to part 2. I know it’s going to be beautiful. 🌷
Tammy Wilson
Beautiful and meticulous work as always Christine ! Thank you for sharing your talents. Your home and the area is beautiful ! Love the fur babies .❤️❤️
Hepziba Gunneman-de Vries
Omg, here I was expecting just a headless armless basic form... Leave it up to Christine to rise to perfection! This is beyond any expectation!
Hepziba Gunneman-de Vries
Yes! By me at least!
VStreet
Can’t wait to watch this!
Summer Rose Barnes
Would standing with legs slightly apart affect it dramatically, I'd like to be able to use it for pants and dresses/ skirts. Maybe I can add some sort of hinge to open and close legs. Look at me over here complicating it lol.
DMCM
Christine…you have a ridiculous amount of talent. It’s such a divine gift. You’re just a beautiful woman. 💕🌷💖
Tilura
The form looks absolutely incredible so far. I'm really curious to know how easily you can pin into it with all those layers of glue and cardboard. I've made dress forms out of other things before, but this one really does seem like it would last forever! Can't wait to see how you finish it!
Lynnetta
This is so incredible! I don't sew (though it's on my ever growing list of things I want to learn), and watching you carve that cardboard had my brain thinking of all the things that could be sculpted from this cheap and abundant (except in the UK according to another patron comment) material!
Lynnetta
What an incredible skill you have!!
Aunt Debbie Halloween
Call it "Dismembered Christine"! It's a cardboard masterpiece! I was also really excited to see your grandfather clock after the Clock Goblin fixed it! (And what kind of faux candles are those in the candelabra? They are beautiful.)
Kate Liset
WOW! Very impressive, as always. I definitely want to try this! *saves 1000 boxes*
Buggie
Great job!! Loved getting to see the clock and your work in this episode!

Ooooh the chimes in your clock are delightfully mixed up
Lily
I didn’t know we have a cardboard shortage!
Gincredible
Having once tortured myself recreating a stacked cardboard scratching post, this is so wildly impressive.
GreeneQueen2
WOW absolutely amazing! I don't think I'll be tackling this project 😂😂😂 I wear a size 18/20 with a very generous posterior(major booty) my hips are 55inches I don't think there is enough cardboard in the world LOL jk but no. Awesome how it all comes together.💜
Keely
that was very intense. can imagine cleaning up that room! :) it was amazing to watch.
Amy Watler-Thomas
Welllllll that's a good way of doing it. Cheap and time consuming... Definitely 😂 Looks so good, i lie the cardboard waves and grain but ooo very much excite to see I finished and spooky Will I do it myself? I'm not sure of any time soon but it seems doable! And would be totally exact.... Id deffos make it bigger coz I'm forever going up and down half a stone so I'd make it bigger. Also fun fact... The uk has a cardboard shortage! How mad is that!
Jamie
Wow! Love everything you have created
Alison Irvine
Poof is the cutest and simultaneously the most unhelpful work companion :)
