Where is part 3? I never got that episode

Cora Kathlea

I was thinking about Buffalo bill the entire time I watched you making the cover. 😅Beautiful work.

Sam Hussey

Invisible stitch😻😎🤓

Shannon R.

That is impressive how solid the form looks now. Wow...I missed quite a few videos.

Marina salinas

I have never heard of an invisible stitch! That is soo cool! I needed to learn about this! Job well done Christine!

bianca

Wow I am SO impressed. What an inspiration

Sheryl Bradakis

*laugh* I was thinking this exact thing.

Julia

BRAVO 😍

Samantha Crumpton

Is this new music!? It's so hauntingly beautiful 😍

Tammy R Dowden

It's amazing so far! Your craftswomanship is next-level, and you must have the patience of Job! All those little pieces--I can sew, but it is VERY rudimentary sewing. I can't wait til next week to see the finished product!

Stacey Rowell

Buffalo Bill ain’t got nothing on you!

Sherri

I've watched this several times. Mesmerizing. You know, this has a sort of "Silence of the Lamb" vibe. Maybe the dress form should be called Clarice????? :o

Nicholas Frig

Depending on what fabric you use this is completely doable within that budget. The glue isn't expensive and a little goes a long way. Plus if you use a stand like she already had laying around or find one (there are a lot for sale or even for free on fb marketplace) that is another cost cutter. I agree that what she has created so far already looks more expensive than it really is and that's a fantastic thing in my book.

Nicholas Frig

Speaking of woodworking, I have a possible suggestion for a future project I just wanted to throw out there in the air. What about making frames? I have a huge collection of antique frames, but sometimes I am painting a piece that just doesn't fit with them aesthetically or physically and I am on this, sometimes in vain, search for one that will work. Just tossing it out there. Beautiful work and I can't wait to see the finished product!

helen crawford

Didn't you say ages ago that this project would be around $100-$150 ? There is no way?!

Dusty Lynn Goodwin

Christine….it’s gorgeous! Can’t wait to see the woodworking portion!

Page Brunner

Great project! I have always found a dress form with some padding underneath to be helpful when using pins and getting a sense of the stretch over a softer surface of different fabrics. I think I will be adding a long zipper in the back so the linen cover can be dry cleaned.

Eve Engle

OMG, Christine, this is so amazing! My dad was a sculptor and art professor. He loved working with glue and sawdust, so it is fascinating to me that you knew to do that. He would have been very interested in this project and your talent. I have been sewing since I was 8 (I'm 63 now) and I am blown away by this project. After I retired from my original profession (librarian) I went to work as a manager for Joann Fabrics. I know exactly which linen you used. And you definitely chose the right one. I can't wait to see the last episode and see your finished product! Bravo!!!

Victoria Aubrey

What an incredible episode, so impressed by how stunning the cover looks on the dress form! A little tip for the future that you might find helpful - I'm a costume maker and we use this technique sometimes in tailoring - you can make something called a 'damp stick' by rolling up tailoring canvas and tying it together (a bit like a sage bundle). Then you dip it in water and apply the moisture only exactly to where you want steam, and then use a dry iron to create that steam - this way you don't add moisture and risk shrinking the rest of the fabric but you can get perfect pinpointed steam <3

Rosalie Langmod

Have you named the dress form yet?

Christine McConnell

YES! I had accidentally left it in a drawer at the CA house! I almost cried when I found it!

Tammy Nunn

You found your watch!

zuul81 .

Wonderful

Shelley Anders

Always outstanding Christine 🖤

Mji X

I am forever in awe...

MMuerte

Amazing! It looks fantastic. Can't wait for the next episode!

Alyne Whiteswan

Amazing! I'm in awe at how hard you work and how gorgeous this came out!

AliLou Creations

Linen is made from flax ,you can get linen mixes with cotton but 100% linen is flax , this is just amazing, it looks so vintage ❤️❤️❤️

Angela Pogue

Dumb-ish question, if the stand is glued into the form how will this be used for testing alterations on some near finished skirts and pants?

Teresa Guerino

Wow. I really admire your patience and attention to detail. As a sewist, I have to remind myself to take a breath, slow down and be willing to start over to make something well.

Ashley Bosworth

Wow! This already looks so incredible!!

Emma Cowles

Ahh no, I was really looking forward to the live stream (I'm a Londoner) but it will be at around 2am for me I think :( I thought it was going to be at 11pm. Have fun you guys!

Kristi G

Me, too, Alexandra. And I’m like the antithesis to Halloween/spooky with my art style, but sooooo enjoy the fun and learning.

Christine McConnell

There are! I think I missed adding their progress to this episode... I'll include that in the last installment :))

Karla Wilson

I’m not sure I know of a more masterfully skilled and capable woman at everything she does!

Nicholas Frig

I think I missed something somewhere. Were there arms for this? I thought there was, but I could be wrong.

Ashley Blue

Maddening. Hypnotic and beautiful process. And meticulously maddening. ❤

Ashley Lucero

Christine, is there anyway we can get a playlist from you that has music that gives all the spooky, creepy vibes that you like? Like teddy bears picnic?? Loving all the content🙌 I’m actually making a gift box for my friend and it’s HEAVILY inspired by you and I’m using your techniques ❤️❤️

Vicky

Fantastic job Christine I love the way it looks.

Marilyn Maier

Is Archimedes responding to his treatment as well as it seems in the video? He is SUCH a love!

Elise Day

Beautiful dress form and I love your "Librarian" skirt!

Christine McConnell

I love this option too!! Especially building it on a mannequin, That's a genius idea!! I honestly thought my dress form would be a lot simpler and then it's just avalanched into one of the harder projects I've tackled :o

Anita Gonzales

All I can say is WOW!!! I'll be waiting patiently for the live!

Alexandra Conrad

I don't even sew and I still love watching these. The talent is amazing! I can't wait to see the finished product but have even less patience for the arrival of the Halloween season! (even though all year is still spooky season). I watch these videos on repeat while I do my own paintings and art all through the holiday season.

Krissy Smith

I can't wait for Halloween Stuff! It amazes me how you made this amazing dress form from cardboard!!! I am so excited to see what is next

Amy Tegethoff

This dress form is incredible and I know from personal experience that having a form to fit on is so much easier than fitting on yourself and alone. I don't have the skills that Miss Christine has, but I used a pattern by Bootstrap Fashion for their personalized dress form. You enter your measurements and they product a pattern for you to sew together and then stuff full of polyfill, batting, etc. I put an old plastic dummy form into my sewn form then stuffed polyfill around it. Worked out great! There are great reviews of the bootstrap dress form pattern and lots of youtube reviews. Highly recommend. I don't have the same skills or tools that Miss Christine has, but this is another options for those who might be interested! Hope you are all safe and well!

Lindsay Fritz

This might have to be my big project this year! It looks like a massive undertaking, but so worth it!

Jordan Nuckels

I had a very painful week handling the hospice stages of a loved one. When I finally got home after 63 hours at the hospital, and saw this video, I cried. I never realized just how much these videos comforted and inspired me. You are amazing!

Kirstyn Cobb

So excited for Halloween!! Your new house is so spooktacularly beautiful already, can’t wait to see what you do as always!

Rachael

Your skill is phenomenal! Unfortunately mine is not so I'm going to have to sit this one out and just drink wine and enjoy the videos! I cannot wait for the Halloween episodes!! I am definitely making bauble spiders this year!

Sufani Garza

Excited to move into other things and Halloween. Not into dress form stuff, yet ,I can really appreciate your art form and attention to detail. What you made is amazing!

Karen Horner

I always enjoy videos showcasing your "Creative Brilliance" and may they never end!

Dominique Kupersmith

How you even came up with this idea, planned it out, and executed it so flawlessly I will never know. The time and patience and meticulous craft is amazing. Can't wait to see the finishing because it already looks great!

Rachel

So excited for this, but seeing the words "Halloween episodes" made my day!

Carlee

Sorry if someone already asked but what book were you listening to?

Virginia Bernotas Fremarek Lempa

Is there anything you can’t do??!! And do it to the highest level of perfection. You are truly amazing.

Vi

The sheer amount of detail and effort that has gone into this, I’m just so amazed. And I love watching these so much that while this video was playing, my partner was walking around the house humming to the iconic music made my Grant. ❤️

Clara Vratsanos

Not me seriously considering staying awake until 2am on a Tuesday to watch this 🥲 (who am I kidding I will probably do it)

Allan Linehan

I was just using my sawzall to chop up some broken branches on Saturday. It’s a noisy and aggressive tool. Seeing you sculpt with it was astonishing! I’m always in awe at the mastery you command with anything you choose to do. Amazing Renaissance woman.

Carmen G. P.

Omg great! 🤍🤍🤍

Ange

I’m an expert sewer, and I feel a little out of my depth trying to attempt this! I’m a little disappointed you didn’t go through the process of how you decided where to do the lines to create the pattern pieces, and what your method was for this. Even for someone who’s been seeing since a young child, this doesn’t look like an easy feat.

Lorena zitelli

Awww it is school night it will be to late for me to see it but I always enjoy see everything live or not live that you post , it is a ritual ,since we know about you specially this coming months big kisses and love from us in 🇩🇰 Denmark

Christina Galaviz

The way you create with your hands is magical ✨! How lovely it is to share with us your gifts. Well done, Christine! And thank you.

Rose

I can't wait!! This looks so good already! Also your hair looks fantastic! Loved the music 💛.

Lynnetta

Holy cow!! This is beautiful! I can't believe that you have more to show us. This looks finished to me. So excited to see what's next!!

Deana Carpenter

FAN DAMN TASTIC!

Sandra Martinez

Superb! I loved the dress form on Part 1- it was a work of art. Now in part 2- that cover fits like a glove, it already looks done! I can’t wait to see what other embellishments you have up your sleeve. You continue to amaze me!

Michelle Lofthouse

Once again you are So inspiring! I really don't sew (maybe buttons) and I am simply amazed at your talent and attention to detail. Thank you!

Racheal Jones

Great episode - I am super excited for the grand finale!

Racheal Jones

Definitely occurred to me, when all the pieces were laid on the floor. :)

Tabatha Redar

I thought the same thing, lol!

Lori Ratcliff

Wow! The dress form turned out amazingly! I would have broken my brain trying to figure out the pattern for that cover, and I’m a fairly experienced sewer. I can’t wait till the next episode!

Colleen

Anyone else feel like Christine is channeling Buffalo Bill as she sews the "Skin" for the dress form? That fabric looks awefully flesh toned.

Cj Franklin

I LOVED this, it's turning out so awesome!

Eric Mutzabaugh

you found your watch :)

Madwarlock

Watching you place the nearly-done fabric onto the form was giving me serious Buffalo Bill vibes!

Rebecca Valentine

How do you get any work done in that cozy house and the rain hitting the roof. That room you are working in would make me so sleepy. 😂 ❤️

Jessica Harmsworth

Nvm I am dumb. Found it! Lol

Jessica Harmsworth

I am so sorry for my ignorance, but did I miss part one because I don’t see it?

Angela Pearson

Buffalo Bill sure could of used a friend like you.

Gina Radford

Every project you amaze me more 💖💖

Mononoke Adams

Yay! Can't wait to watch. Thank you, Christine.

Alaskan Rock Vodka

Fab episode - no being a sewer I could not actually picture how all this would come together - great instruction C. Cant wait til the next ep. 🥂

Mallory Beckman

I love that this posted just before I went to bed. The perfect night time watch. Sweet dreams!

All I can say is wow. I don’t think there’s anything you cannot do……and I love your old lady librarian outfit!

Good evening Christine 👻 really needed this video 🖤 PTSD is real today-16th anniversary of Katrina and now Ida! Sending good energy and positivity to everyone!

Christine McConnell

This made me so happy! Tell your Mom I said Hi!! :D

Amanda Leib

So excited! Christine, like you, I’m very close with my mom, and I have introduced your videos to her over the past few months. We have had the best time hanging out and watching videos, and I showed her the Netflix show too! She says “I love Christine’s sense of humor.” Thank you for creating such wonderful art that I can share with her!
