PS If you did get asked to collab with the Sims, here is my vote for items to recreate. 1. The Dress Form 2. The Bed in the Guest Room 3. Your Portrait WITH the removable eyes function & your Moms 4. The Grasshopper Pie 5. The Victorian Lamps and the Lampshades 6. The Umbrella 7. Both of the Wallpapers you did 8. The White Dress with the Spiders 9. The black top & black & white skirt combo you wore to RI. The Fireplace in the Christmas '23 episode 10. The amazing candelabra in your dining room on the table and lastly a Gingerbread house

Christine would it be too much of an imposition to ask if you could post a picture of the dress form on a public site like your Facebook. It was so unique and cool I wanted to suggest one for a digital version in the Sims 4 on the forum for the game. They have been making a lot of cool gothic style items lately. I wanted to be able to show what I am talking about but also give credit to you as its creator. Likely EA won't recreate something made by a public figure but they might make something that's an homage and that would suit me fine. If you aren't comfortable with thats fine I respect that. I'll look for something else, yours is just my favorite and I thought it might give you some hype. You never know they might ask you to collaborate.
Nancy Williams
Christine, Have you used the dress form yet in an episode ? Yes I know I’m late to the party! It was fascinating to watch you work through this art form.
Kurtis Wayne Cable
I absolutely adored this little series. I’m sure I’ll never need a dress form, but it was wonderful to watch you work it out and see it through to such a beautifully finished result.
Dayana Alvarado
Not many people impress me with their skill but you always do!! Love everything you do.
Aunt Debbie Halloween
Does anyone know which Dremel set Christine uses? I need to replace my old one and there are so many options now.
Cee Fee
This was unbelievable to watch. So talented
Alexandra
I am in Love with your wood work! Your design solution is really inspiring, like you can do whatever is in your head.
Robin Reed
It’s so dark and beautiful! I love it. I never expected it to look like that. You outdid yourself!
Haley McGough
This is beyond impressive. I don't know how to applaud louder; that finished form is a work of art. Thank you so much for sharing your process.

Firstly, the dress form is amazing and I adore it. But wasn’t the original intent of the dress form video to be able to create one for ourselves in order to follow along with dressmaking tutorials? Theoretically it’s possible to make a dress form this way, but this seems beyond the skill level and time available for a lot of us. Even if we’re only doing the basic dress form and not any of the fancy woodwork. A non-duct tape alternative for us mere mortals, Bootstrap Fashions has a body replica dress form pattern generator. You plug in your measurements and they generate a pattern. You're awesome!
Angelina Cox
You are truly a master crafter. I am blown away at the intricate details you add to all of your creations. Thank you for sharing
LupinsandLaurels
Well, I'm not sure I will make my own full form in the future, but this did motivate me to finally make a nice fitted black covering for my adjustable form, with a little padding in a few spots to make it closer to my shape since I rarely make use of it for commissions. 👍
Mandysimo
Finally got around to this episode, wow what an amazing finished product!
Margaux Allard
My husband who enjoys watching your shows with me says you should get a band saw. He says you will LOVE it and it will make your work easier on the hands...
Margaux Allard
This is amazing and i LOVE the new design for you name!
Cora Kathlea
It was way to late when I was watching this and I started to doze off before the reveal, and the drop in the beat jolted me awake and scared me. 😹 I had to wake up and rewind.
Sam Hussey
THAT was awesome , well done 🦇
Robin Burton
Fascinating. I love to watch the longer projects! Your focus always impresses me. As does your attention to detail. Can't wait to watch you use the dress form.
Markela Pierce
The detail. The craftsmanship. The creativity. 😮💨
Rebecca Ude
Absolutely stunning! You are truly a gifted artist, I am in awe of both the dress form & your dedication to the details. So happy I became a patron & I’m excited for holiday fun! Sending you & The Captive lots of 🤗,💜 & 🙏🏻 for a healthy, happy & Blessed week (plus mooches for the fur babies)! 🦚— R.U.
Heather Hill
Love watching you work. FYI those switches are know as "kill" or "deadman" switches as it kills the power to the piece of equipment, making it "dead". Just thought you would enjoy the vernacular.
Claudia
Wow!! It’s incredible! All your hard work really paid off. Well done
Samantha DeJong
I've been quite excited about this project for quite some time - it of course exceeded any expectations and left me in awe & completely inspired!! Fabulous! 💛🕸️✨
Alyne Whiteswan
This is truly awe inspiring! Christine revives classic New England craftsmanship! Has anyone tackled this project?
Iana Nelson
Honestly it makes an amazingly spooky sculpture even if you never actually used it to make any clothes! Really love how you make these things that are practical and artistic at the same time!
Elizabeth Manoukian
You always inspire me to be more creative. Thank you for sharing your gorgeous creations with us!
Tanya Hermann
just finally watching this last installment, and just WOW!!! Always amazing, and this dress form is just fantastic and lovely.
Kitty Langley
I can't wait for more house restoration content! I'm potentially buying my own old house and would love more inspiration!
Robin Biddle
This is fabulous! WOW!!!.........just.......WOW!!!!!!!
Crystal Zwicker
Such an amazing job! All the details are so gag worthy! Wow Wow Wow
Tania McIntyre
Loved watching the process. Another item you can use to age fabrics is cold tea, I use it for ageing the fabric for my doll houses and I used it when I refurbished an antique dress form for a friend. I loved it and what a great addition to your house
Brynn Carroll Art
You did an amazing job! This was a tremendous amount of work and the love of the project shows in the final form! Oddly, I am using much of these same tools building large props for my Cruella De Vil Manor and you gave me ideas for using larger dremel bits that will help me as I sculpt many details to the coat of arms and other finials to her gated entrance. Stunning work Christine. I especially loved how you aged the fabric!
Linda
Very impressive. You outdid yourself!
Emilie
Holy wow. You didn't give us a dress form, you gave us a bonafide Victorian antique! Absolutely incredible, well done. Hard work and love for detail pays off. I want to get into woodworking because of you <3
June Yorke
This is incredible! I do have a question, will the dye on the fabric be safe/stable when you start making dresses? I'm just curious, since whenever I dye fabric, it's a whole process washing it out, and soaking it in vinegar so its stable and doesn't bleed! Excited to see you make dresses!
Nikki
You are an absolute artist
Gina Mustico
Simply remarkable! Have you ever considered using woodcarving tools for some of the woodworking? You'd have less airborne sawdust and the wood shavings would be easier to clean up. Also, you could devise some sort of vacuum attachment to your Dremel.
Trish Esq
Beautiful 🖤🖤🖤
Deborah Wiltshire Whaley
Absolutely stunning! I true one of a kind sculpture a masterpiece. You always inspire me 💗 thank you for sharing your brilliance!
TDF FDT
Wow. Magnificent. Your hard work shows. Amazing details.
Yaragirl
This really came out absolute amazing! All the hard work paid off.
Kitty Lang
Stunning! Beautiful! Magical!
Laura Camp
I think you could easily pull off a Christine-ified Dickies jumpsuit for working on your projects!
Agatha Crookshaw
It’s amazing what you can do with cardboard a sander and a great imagination. What was your inspiration to use cardboard? I don’t think I would ever make one but was happy to see you do it
Lisa Mays
I absolutely loved watching this come together. It is gorgeous! Looking forward to what is next.
Knit 1 Code 2
The details and lighting at the end make it look like some sort of leaf creature. Love it!
Theresa Clay
I wish I had your patience and just an ounce of your talent and creativity!
Trevor Howell
I mean, WOW. This is spectacular. This blows me away.
Alex
Love the new logo!
Bonnie Coniguliaro
absolutely amazing talent 🧡
Amber Beavis
An incredible episode - just amazing! On the workwear issue - I used to be a spider 🕷scientist and was always looking for field gear that I actually felt good in. I haven’t tried this brand yet, but you might like these folks - @sukworkwear . They have quite the following in Australia 😺
Christina Rodriguez
Welp, that's the most gorgeous dress form *I've* ever seen that's for sure! The best outfit that won't snag on tools: full body tights :-D
Zechariah Henderson
Just stunning! Loved the old look to it.
Mononoke Adams
Amazing episode. Can't wait for the Halloween episodes coming :-).
Gabrielle Turgeon
Unbelievable, as always! I am in awe by your artistry.
LunarFaerie
Oooh, that's almost exactly what I was seeing Charlotte! When even the plain pattern looks that good Christine would, I'm sure, elevate it into something that's not only functional but beautiful at the same time.
Marina salinas
I want to cry it’s SO intriguingly beautiful! This is exactly why I do not mind spending money to support you. You are exquisite and I can’t believe you created that. I am going to put so much more belief into my own self and see what I do. I think we all should. 🖤
Anita Gonzales
Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lily
The dressform is of course stunning, but can we also talk about what a BEAUTIFUL cat Werewoof has grown into?! 😍🖤
Stephanie
Hi Christine, We’re setting up a trunk n treat this year and I would love to hear any ideas you may suggest please!!
Hillary A Mills
I would love to watch an episode on a Christine McConnell-esque leather shop apron!
Charlotte Meyer
Simplicity 8447 is a reworking of a vintage dungaree pattern - 'Rosie the RIveter' style. I have it but haven't got round to sewing it yet! Christine would make an amazing version I'm sure.
Mina Murray
Mr. Scratch suggests a leather apron as protective gear for when you're carving.
Hannah
I would watch a full length feature film about the life of this mannequin. Truly magical ✨
Cj Franklin
She is stunningly beautiful, as is your precious mind! Thank you for the many times you have made me smile during a very trying time.
Alyne Whiteswan
A masterpiece! And kind of Surrealist too ! Christine always goes the extra 500 miles.
Alisha Frank
The finished product is just so amazing. Your skills never cease to amaze me.
Cynthia Weaver
What an artisan you are! Amazing project.
Sandy
Amazing! I also love the new logo design. I’m glad people are suggesting coveralls, they are comfy and functional. I can also see you rocking some floral Doc Martens- don’t want to see you lose any toes too!
Shelley Anders
You are the ultimate craftsman. Just astounded. It turned out so beautifully.
Carmen L
Wow, Christine! This was amazing to watch you make this dress form from start to finish, and the added bonus of watching do woodwork! Love watching you work!
Sandra Martinez
I noticed that too and have wondered the same thing!
Christine Brown
So fun to watch, 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 but likelihood of tackling it myself 0. 😢. I’m in awe of your talent and patience. ❤️
Amy Moynihan
I love the finished product, you've done an amazing job!! To be honest I am actually in awe of your patience and dedication, you can see just how much time and effort it takes and I'm like, its not so much that I couldn't do it (probably nowhere near as amazing as your finished piece!) but I definitely would not have the patience for that level of meticulousness!! So I'm gonna settle with living through you for this one lol. Absolutely amazing work, well done, you should be so proud of yourself. x
Dan De Young
I love the (?) new logo (the still of Christine McConnell). Not that I don’t love the original, but do you think you’re going to shoot a new intro at the new house?
katie scott
That turned out pretty creepy. Great Job!
V
Its honestly is so horrifyingly beautiful, it needs a nameeee Christine you mad GENIUS
willowflame13

It is great to see one of the world's best master craftswoman doing what she does best! I do not want to do this at all but I do love watching it come into being! Congratulations!
Tammy R Dowden
STUNNING. That's all I can say--Christine II (the dress form) looks almost as though she could come to life! Incredible job, and I look forward to what you've got brewing fr this year's Halloween project!
Aunt Debbie Halloween
Someone is starting it on Instagram, and I will start it in a couple of months - look in #creatingwithchristine on Instagram
Donna Kong
Yet another masterpiece. Brava Christine!!
Killian Kincaide
Wow what an amazing job Christine, it looks stunning. I love the lighting you used in your reveal shots beautiful and spooky!
Krissy Smith
This turned out Amazing!! Stay safe! Coveralls are a great suggestion! My hubby wears one of his old flight suits when hes working on stuff.....keeps him safe and clean :-)
Christine McConnell
This is a great suggestion! I just went and ordered a pair online! :D Thank you!
Grace McEwan
Beautiful as always. Girl, coveralls were developed for a reason! I wore them in my shop class in undergrad and they are still my go-to for messy projects. Its so easy to throw them on over whatever you’re wearing, and then take them off and leave the mess in the mess area. Tools have alot harder time catching on the thick tough material traditional workwear is made of. I wonder if you would have been better off in thick leather/canvas gloves as well. Be safe Christine!
Selene
Wow this turned out so cool! It's such a stunning piece and I love that it also is functional! It really has a lot of presence and personality. This is a great way to preserve a piece of yourself for the future generation and I can't wait to see the clothing you make with this as well. This was a really fun series to watch :) <3
Aude_brocad
Quel travail absolument grandiose et minutieux ! Bravo !
Carmen G. P.
Omg loved the final result! Too bad I’m not able to make one :)).
LunarFaerie
This project has been so engrossing to watch and the finished result looks absolutely wonderful! With a dress form that looks like this how could you fail to make beautiful, feminine designs and I am so looking forward to seeing them. As an idea for suitable attire during these more 'heavy duty' projects you could make a coverall type dungaree item of clothing. I've got in my mind the sort worn by the U.K. women's land army during WW2. You could make so many additions/adaptations to make it look amazing.
Sara Sweeney
Oh my god!! It’s amazing. And that grand reveal music was sooooo good! Like spooky seamstress stranger things vibe. I love it all so much ❤️
Leia
Loving your new logo!! <3
Katy Liljeholm
Get a boiler suit! You can even make one!
Larry C
Wow. Exceptional as always.
Leslie
I love all the carving in this episode! Thanks for the suggestions on dremel tips and safety precautions. I gotta say, that end result looks SO SCARY! Great job!
Andrea Jane
I would love to know if anyone else attempted to create this. I would LOVE to see what you did. This was way beyond my skill/patience level :) But very inspiring!
Karri Thompson
All I can say is WOW!
Diane plevelich
Yes, Sinestra would fit well! 😂
Rachael Gater
Lost for words. Utter magic. Completely out of my league and skill set. Am making a half assed attempt at your scarecrow from last Halloween. You are so inspiring.
Elisa H Messore
Oh my gosh, Christine. I am really blown away by this project. I remember from your livestream what torture at least some aspects of this project brought to your life. Whatever motivated you to keep going, we all benefit from it. I'm in downstate NY (read: NYC Bronx) and want to say how comforting, intriguing and inspiring your recent videos in particular been while dealing with flooding and related moving stress. Thank you so much! I'm so excited for your videos as we go into the Halloween season! Lookimg forward to what’s ahead 🕷(this is a spider btw, not a tick) 🦇🪱💀👻
Mariana Escobedo
I had a really tough couple of days, and this made me cry a little bit, but in a good way. Thank you much for reminding me that self-confidence is everything, and when you add a tiny dose of magic, miraculous things can be achieved. Blessed be.
AliLou Creations
You will have to name her though ❤️❤️❤️
AliLou Creations
Ohh my lord ! , I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a masterpiece develop in front of my eyes , she is absolutely stunning 😍, the aging, the carving everything, I absolutely love wood , I have a shed in my garden with heating lights and all electric, I live on Lord Derby’s Estate here in England and I get all my wood from the woodlands,it needs seasoning but it’s all beautiful, I’ve had the glove thing happen to me 😱, it’s terrifying, I’m in love with all your carving on this but I’ve got to say my favourites are the leaves , just out of this world, your welcome for the flax info , I’ve actually made linen with a tutor that came to the estate good few years ago , he was with us for a few months and brought his vintage french loom ,very tiring work , but the bleaching and all the steps were fabulous, I only ended up with 40x30 inch piece 😂 as there was few of us , you are a genius Christine, ❤️❤️❤️
Trace
Simply...spectacular. I am in awe of what you can make.
Lesterle Meyer
You could have kinda made Victorian corbels for the sides Giant ones!
Lesterle Meyer
Christine. When I need to age anything i use a mixture of coffee and the grounds. I put in an old pan and heat till boiling. Turn down flame and let simmer. It will get darker. Test to where you want the color. Apply with brush, sponge or spray. You can even dip into the mixture. In the summer I let dry outside on the grass The sun will naturally dry the item. I also use the grounds to make darker areas. Grind into the fabric. Twisting the fabric to make creases and worn areas. My other technique I use power walnut dye. I order it from the internet. Mix with water to the color desired. You can make it yourself but it is a mess to make. Write back to me with your thoughts. Love you, Lesterle. (Phila, Pa I also have other techniques to make items look primitive, worn and scrappy looking. Please excuse the miss-spelling. I am sight-impaired.
Liv
This was so lovely and functional! You knocked it clear outta the park!
Sherri
Brava!!! Most excellent!!!
Random Onlooker
Christine - you are otherworldly! Simply amazing!! Congrats to you on completing this beast of a project.
Anna Wilson
It turned out so very lovely! It looked great with the moody lighting, but I'd love to see it in it's full finished glory in bright light too so we could appreciate all the details. :)
Erin C
You need some Rosie the Riveter vintage overalls. Comfortable, can layer underneath to keep warm, stylish as hell ❤️
Katherine
Oh gosh. It's hard to tell from the footage, but I think it's possible that the young rabbit may be a dumped domestic one. I'm thinking this because of the fuller body, more solid-colored coat, fullness of face, and lack of a white tufted tail which is a characteristic of both the Eastern and New England cotton tails that are native to New York. If it is a domestic rabbit that has escaped or been dumped, then it would be best to try and catch it and take it to a shelter. Otherwise, it won't survive long out in the wild. Unfortunately, a lot of people dump their pet rabbits, it's how I got my first one actually, after rescuing it from outside. She was from a domestic litter that was born outside.
Michelle Lofthouse
Absolutely stunning and beautiful accomplishment. Congratulations! SO enjoyed this video...and I love the new music and logo! Also-thank you for including your tools and favorite carving bits.

CANIVET Priscille
I use a similar technique for a very small project using cardboard boxes as well, it was so fastidious and not looking as good as yours 😅 Seriously “bravo” for this project! Really enjoyed it, it’s soooo cool 😄
Shelley Dziedzic
This masterpiece deserves a name. I named my antique dress form. Maybe something Victorian like Arabella or Serafina?
Cindy
Wow you’re so talented. You turn a ‘basic’ thing into a piece of art I’m so amazed :o, I hope one day there’ll be a museum with all of your art 😀. Can’t wait for fall projects, it’s gonna be so cool
Shanda Jones
absolutely magnificent!
Aunt Debbie Halloween
I love it!!! I'm going to make mine as soon as I lose these 10 lbs of lock-down weight (I don't want my extra poundage immortalized in a dress form) Also - I love your new logo!!
Kathleen Holly
Beautiful. Functional art. And you are so inspiring to watch. The music in this episode was fabulous as well. Thank you for sharing.

So I am correct & the post is glued into the form, it's unremovable as a mannequin would be ?
Clara Salzmann
Wow. You’re such a talented artist. It never ceases to amaze me!
Lindsey Brown
That was so fantastic. I was looking at stains, varnish and sealant yesterday for a project but I’m going to look into the gel. Well done!

That thing’s going to move around the house on its own. Lol. Beautiful work!
