Also, gotta side with Laenor too; he may have indulged for years at court as Rhaenyra says, but he's still in an arranged marriage, AND his lover was murdered by Criston, who seemingly carried on with impunity, so he's pretty much justified imo.

I kinda side with Allicent as of this episode, Rhaenyra has three bastards and everyone plays along so of course it's understandable she's pissed. She's been faithful to Viserys for more almost two decades now (not sure on the exact time).

ahhhhh okay. lighting herself on fire with her own dragon doesn't make me go "yes, she died like a dragon-rider" but I guess if that's what they were going for 😭. not even giving the baby a chance is what was so surprising to me

Laena said in the beginning of the episode that she wanted a dragonrider’s death. She knew she would die if they did a c section and knew she would die if the baby stayed inside her…. It was most likely stillborn, it was not coming out other than a c section. So laena was going to die no matter what. So she dracarysed herself.
