This show is only supposed to be 4 seasons I believe, so for comparing purposes I compare them this way (or plan to) S1-4 GOT S5-8 GOT S1-4 HoTD. Add KOTSK once that show announces how long.

I'm also glad you put the meaning of mongrel. I always was of the view it mean a "crossbreed dog". It does mean that, but it also means "crossbeeding of different types" To call another human that is a huge insult. That pissed me off when Jace said that, but I understand now!

I have to say the sceen with Alicent walking into the lake was so beautifully filmed. The music, so simple yet poignant! Maybe as a pianist I just get Goosebumps at Ramin Djawadi's incredible scores. Especially the big one "All Must Choose" at the end of the season. It's a masterpiece!
