March release preview + Farm animal news

What I have been up to
Its been a while since I made proper updates and here is why: a few months back I was lucky enough to find a full time temporary job after almost a whole year of unemployment, so i have been modding after work everyday as well as on the weekend, which has made me extremely busy. And during this time I was working on the dairy cow mod which was incredibly challenging and exciting as the same time, it was the most complex mod I have worked on and I have learned so much in the process. Right now I am trying to save up as much as I can because I am unsure what is going to happen once my contract ends in the end of March.
Dairy cow and other farm animals
We (Mizore Yukii, Icemunmun and I) are currently taking a small break from the cow mod and will regroup again on March 3rd to talk about more details on the update we are planing to make, which hopefully will allow you to breed cows and raise cattle. We also have been talking about making more farm animals after finishing the cow update, so far we have talked about possibilities of making sheep, goats and llamas. If you have any suggestions, feel free to leave a comment.
Plans for March
Other than working on the diary cow update, I'm also planning on making a toddler activity set and release it in March. As you can see in the image, I'm planning on making at least 4 functional items, all of which include brand new interactions and animations. The Rocking Horse is a revamp of the first mod I have ever made, I made a new model that is hopefully more Maxi's match. I also added a new interaction, so not only can toddlers ride the rocking horse, they will also automatically take a nap on it (see image 3 and 4) if they are too tired,. Hopefully this will add new elements to your story telling and enrich your game play. If you have any suggestions on what else I should add to this set, feel free to leave a comment!

I am so looking forward to when more animals are added alongside the dairy cow! I would love to see pigs in addition to sheep. I'd say horses, but I don't want to overwork you. I know you're busier than ever!

we are definitely planning on making calves! And I agree with your suggestion, we should be able to add more recipes you can make with milk!

I will definitely bring that up in our meeting when we regroup, Icemunmun is very good at making recipes, so it shouldn't be a problem!

I love those names lol When we tested the cow mod we actually named it taco, because we actually used a plate of tacos as the base file and built our mod on top of that. I have actually thought about making exotic animals, its definitely something I will do down the road!

I would be so excited for breedable/raisable cattle and some smaller dairy animals like goats! Do you think breeding cattle will also involve creating calves? I'll echo what another commenter said, I love that the milk is SCCO compatible, but would also loveeee to be able to make yogurt, ice cream, cheese and butter (maybe the cheese & butter could be SCCO compatible too!)

What I'd love is for the milk to be recipe compatible. That would be my number one request. Beyond that, while breeding would be awesome, I'd love being able to take the milk and make things like yogurt and cheese (recipe compatible ideally!). Basically, I'd like to never order groceries lol.

If snakes or spiders are at all possible to have as pets I would be extremely grateful to have those for consideration. Both my wife and I are big fans of exotic animals and were sad that they weren't included alongside many other animals for Cats and Dogs as compared to Sims 3 Pets. That said though, thank you. The cow mod is incredibly fun and we've lovingly named our 2 'beefsteak' and 'Tbone'

I also vote for pigs! Maybe they could produce bacon, pork chops, etc.? And if you have a great relationship with them vegan bacon ;) Llamas would be iconic as well!

As far as animals go I absolutely love pigs, I know they don't produce much farm wise but I adore them and would love to have them in game!
