Hi, my sims won't give birth or do anything related to this mod other than call the obstetrician to select a birth method, and do breathing exercises. She's been in labor for over 3 days and no options to give birth show up. Also, the balloon for the gender reveal keeps multiplying by itself in my inventory (it got up to 23 of them) there's clearly some issues going on here, this might need an update

So far, I have not had any issues with mine. I would like to mention I downloaded this in June (both birth mode and the birth class mod) and have not updated it to any newer version if there is one. Not saying I won't come across any issues in the nearest future, but as of this very moment it is working as intended.

This isn't them helping civilians who are effected, they're literally giving money to the military to keep doing the things they're doing. The childbirth settings menu your looking for should be in debug so you’ll need to shift click on the sim for it to show up

Both are equally bad. They are cheap translators who don't put any work into it. The problem with the pronouns is unfortunately difficult in German, but you just have to do the work. Unfortunately I can't do it, the mod is too big and I can't handle the sentence structures.

The only way the interaction wouldn’t be showing up is because fiancé already knows about the pregnancy. The only other explanation I can think of is that interaction has a cool down and will take 3 days before it is available again, so if you used it within the last three days youll have to wait longer for the timer to reset

The Child Birth Mod for the Sims 4 is really comprehensive and realistic, but I don’t like that there’s no English translation. I know how to read some Portuguese, so I get most of it, but I don’t understand all the nuances. I guess I’ll have to learn Portuguese, but I wish the creator would translate it themselves. I think more people would use it if they did. It’s a really good mod and I feel like I’m missing out. For example, I don’t think I understand the part about when to start and stop pushing. It just seems like guessing. If I understood, I could probably roleplay a birth better.

Baby disappears after you have it :/ I don't know what to do. Going to another world and coming back doesn't fix it. I have a bassinet and it'll tell me its in the pond or ocean depending on the map when i click their picture to see where they are. Other than that everything else works perfectly fine for me. Its an amazing mod, my fave by far but a little broken right now LOL. Came back to edit. I fully closed the game after i saved it and the baby showed up in the bassinet when i went back into my save. So weird lol but phew.

Hi, the moodlet will continue to appear for a little while but once you stop pumping milk the moodlet will stop appearing. Or you can also turn off lactation in the child birth settings.

You are very welcome. The active careers that came with get to work are doctor, detective and scientist. And you are saying they are just rabbit holes for you? They should always give you an option join your sim at work and shouldn’t be just rabbit holes.

And when in labor, I clicked "have baby at hospital", and it's a rabbit hole. She vanishes and comes home with the baby. Are there any step-by-step instructions here? I forgot to screenshot it, but I am using DirectX11 and there are a few moodlets that not only look llamafied but also half of the text body looks messed up and the sign for the gender reveal has its texture messed up.

I have checked my mod folder and sifted through it, there is no conflict you will be glad to know! This led me to make a new save file, and for some reason in the new one, it works fine. It just seems to be broken in my 29 generation legacy save!!!!

I don’t know how your script file can turn into a zip file, this typically does not happen unless you manually change the file extension. but if that’s what you did, just change the extension back to say ts4script

There seem to be some kind of mod conflict happening as one person who had this issue said it worked when they tested with just the childbirth mod. If you want to give it a try that would be really helpful

If you’re clicking on the sim and it doesn’t show up it could be because your clicking on the sim after the naming screen comes up. It could also be that you have an old version of the mod.

It’s sounding like there is a version the of mod that hasn’t been deleted and is still somewhere in the mods folder. I understand you have deleted the older versions but there still may be an old file somewhere in the folder. https://www.pandasama.com/tutorials/checking-for-mod-duplicates/ You also have downloaded “better build and buy” and didn’t turn on CC in buy mode. If you turn on CC it should show you the objects.

everything else but those interactions, so the giving birth interactions are fine and so is the call obstetrician, the lactation, read to baby, look in the mirror, accompany to birth works however the rest does not. All older versions are removed and deleted and there are no conflicts.

hi, that's the way it is right now and there's no way for them to wear their own clothes. it's a combination of how this mod was built and an existing bug in the game. I will make an update to make it possible for sims to wear their own clothes

Hi I just wanted to reach out to ask some questions because when I download it I can see the water birth and the pumps and all other things but the gameplay is not working I do not get the pop up when you shift click your sims to deactivate or activate stuff and when I go to the hospital it does not work I was wondering if you had any advice as you are the creator and have more knowledge

And it’s stuck, like every outfit is the same. If I go into create a sim I can see all of the normal outfits I have assigned for my female sims but in live mode they’re stuck with the hospital gowns. (I’ve also tried hard resetting them with mccc but it’s still the same outcome) And when they play the birth animation it will quickly switch into whatever normal outfit I tried to choose previously. Is there a way to fix this or some other kind of workaround

Hi! I have a question and I’m not sure how/or what I need to do to fix it. I have several save files that I rotate around and each time one of my sims has a baby I choose for them to have a natural birth and when they go to the hospital to give birth they arrive in the hospital gowns (which is fine) but when I go to change their outfits every outfit category shows the hospital gown and slippers

The disabler is meant to stay in your mods folder till the end of time if you want it disabled

Panda, there are still multiple script errors occurring just after the instructor stands next to the table. Things still progress if you ignore them. This hasn't changed since the original version, and I have tested with nothing but this Mod as well.

The option to wear own clothes is for the birth animation only, there are no way to have sims wear there own clothes at the hospital right now

So, my sim just found out she was pregnant, but your pregnancy test take option is no longer there and I can't find the call OB button on the phone. did you remove those?

Hi, you may still need to delete the old version of the mod. Or you may also still have an outdated translation.

This one is going to be fun!! As usual I have to wait a generation 😄, my current heir is 1 and done, but that just makes it that much sweeter when I do get there. Love the manual "join" for birth. Will you be adding the same thing for the ultrasound in a future release?

It's so so great! I'm incredibly excited to have that in the game. Thank you very much for your, now because of the health mod with adeepindigo, double, work and the love and passion that you always put into your mods. Without your mods my game is no longer playable for me. Even if I don't go to the hospital for the birth, but simply do it at home in the baby's crib, I always went to the hospital every trimester for examinations. *heart eyes* I just love it. I love it so much! and now the Lamaze course. I'm so excited about it. :) Thank you very much for that. :)
