Modding Diary - IV Practice Part 1

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a good week! 😘
Thanks to all your wonderful advice last week I am once again feeling inspired and motivated to work on this update.
This week I worked on the "practice IV On (fruit)" interaction, which becomes available once your sim enters the second year of nursing school and it will be part of their daily task.
to practice IV on a piece of fruit you just click on any fruit in game and you will see a pop up that says practice IV
Sim will be seen using a syringe
inserting an IV needle
and disinfecting the fruit as part of their practice
and they will get one of 7 moodlets upon completing the practice
Practising IV a fruit will also increase their nursing skill (caped at level 4)
and that is all I have for this week, next week I will make the second part of IV practice which will allow your sim to practice IV on other sims. depending on their skill it will either go smoothly or hurt the other sim real bad.🤭
Also I loooooved the idea of doing a placement during the final year of nursing school, so I will definitely going to be looking into that!

Just curious, do you think with the new update you might add a "live event" tag to your Childbirth objects for the new buy mode category?

Some ideas for sims working in the NICU - Detecting Vital Parameters of the Newborn - Feed him or her through the nasogastric tube -changing the diaper - Write deliveries on the computer - administer drugs to infants In addition, the sim working in the NICU could wear the scrubs , mask 😷 and gloves as usually used in intensive care

It might be a bit much. But what about an interaction of learning to do stitches? Like on grapes or something of the sort.
