Being the sim who does another sim’s ultrasound could be cool! And maybe save time as you already have the animation done. You’d just be switching roles 🤔

Minnie Dior

Thank you for always keeping us intrigued and anxious all in one (: <#3

Woaahbroitsco

when are you estimating this to be finished? Btw love your work :)

AquariusSimz ♒️

I know you'll get there!! But whatever u come up with I know it will be awesome!!

Mirja

Yeahy! Thank you. *happy*

PandaSama

I love these ideas! thank you very much!

PandaSama

Ive added them all to my notes! <3

PandaSama

that is a very cool idea!! but it is a bit more difficult to implement, lemme look into it and see!

PandaSama

Hi Mirja! ya I think I will!

PandaSama

I love these suggestions!

PandaSama

I will look into a dappler, however its not possible for dads to cut the cord yet. but one day it will be when I become a scripting wizard

PandaSama

Im very glad as well! I think I will save the birth assisting part for the active midwife career.

Simslegacy5083

Exciting 🤩 - so glad you got it working (I have been there with the "what is going on!?!?" and those lightbulb moments are the best 😃!) Could they maybe assist in a birth in school? Standby, hand delivering sim the baby?

AquariusSimz ♒️

I would love to see midwives and obstetricians using a dappled to hear the heartbeat. Dads cutting the cord after birth would be really awesome too

This mod is everything you commitment to it is so beautiful. The evolution of this project has enhanced gameplay and the fact that you involve your patrons in this project you are so passionate about is so sweet. I was thinking about serval this I learned while in school. Bedside manor interations woth patients as well as pt history as a task. Asking if the need water food etc which may just be checking in on simbneeds. Also maybe you can create a vital monitor that the nurse can check periodically to make sure BP ,o2 ,and heart rate of the monitor is stable. Apply nodes to patients to monitor these vitals. Checking feet and legs by palpation for swelling. Checking blood sugars, giving O2 if low, collecting urine samples. Reporting directly to doctor to increase that interaction and begin to for professional relationships. Update chart of pt a few times a day. Administering medication or iv fluids changing out iv and medications via iv station. Whatever you incorporate will be amazing. Thank you for all your work.

Sonya Holcomb

Wow! It looks awesome!

Queen

tubes tied it give people options to have kids or no more. that will be great also the Dads cut the cord after birth

Gem

oh and lots of note taking and documentation lol

Gem

This is amazing! If you're looking for more clinical things to do that involve midwifery, here are some things I do as a student midwife regularly: - take bloods - palpate abdomens - listen into babies heartbeats using a doppler - support people in labour - make birth plans - apply CTGs to bellies and analyse them afterwards to see how baby is getting on

Mirja

Wow. I'm once again blown away by what you can and can do now. This is great and I'm really looking forward to having my Sims become a midwife. *heart eyes* Do you think you could perhaps add that a pregnant woman can hear the baby's heartbeat with an ear trumpet? So just for later. That's not possible in training. :) Definitely great work. Thank you for that. :)

Delta_Blue

I would be awesome for there to be a "Chart" action for the computer to document the patients symptoms and stuff and maybe a "read chart" action for when a sim starts their shift to get familiar with the patients!

The simmer

Great work panda you’re the best .. I have already commented on your post in the past weeks where I gave you some ideas for an active career of a sim who works in NICU…I give you Some ideas for NICU nurse - Detecting Vital Parameters of the Newborn - Feed him or her through the nasogastric tube -changing the diaper - Write deliveries on the computer - administer drugs to infants In addition, the sim working in the NICU could wear the scrubs, mask and gloves as usually used in intensive

Kourtney M

It's fun when your sims does it not you, plus when sims wacky twists and some storyline imagination it fun, plus it way better than rabbitholes.

Teia Buckner

I love this idea as i am in medical field my self

Kourtney M

I worked in the medical field for a while as a CNA and as an administrative too. I would like to say you can include things like review charts, note chart, discharge patient, assist patient using a basic task menu and that can be from the computer or nurse can pull out a notebook writing;and for patient care specific, I say patient just make a request based off the need panel. Hunger need ,nurse bring food, bladder need, nurse assist patient to restroom, etc... also you can incorporate EA animations without going through the storm of creating more animations. I sure this is a difficult, but rewarding Project. And I appreciate you for it, love your work.

Naomi

This is looking to be a fun addition to my gameplay! Maybe consider patient transfers to doctors or senior nursing staff, medical rounds at the beginning/end of each work shift, paperwork/writing medical notes? Not sure if that would constitute as "fun" gameplay but as someone who works in healthcare, it is an important part of daily care.
