Modding Diary - Newborn Blood Tests and blood transfusion

Hi guys! hope you all are well!
First of all thank you guys so much for your kind encouragements last week 🥺thank you for being so patient with me and always cheering me on even when I doubt myself.
and guess what! I fixed the issue with a custom script!

now that was out of the way I worked on the "start blood transfusion" interaction that allows you to give newborns blood transfusion when they have anemia
once they finish their blood transfusion you will get a notification. Ideally the IV stand should disappear when the transfusion is done but I am having trouble with that at the moment
And that is all I have for this week (besides getting wrecked by the patch)!
For the Game Patch we had this week:
I know alot of you have been having trouble travelling to the hospital using the child birth mod after the patch came out this week. Updating to 1.78 should fix the issue (confirmed by multiple people). You might still get a LE that says "user_facing_sim_headline_display_override" upon opening the game right after updating to 1.78, that one is safe to ignore, but you really should not be getting any more LEs from that point on. If you do, please reach out to my discord so that I can take a look at it. If you want you can double check and make sure you dont have any old versions installed by following this tutorial before reaching out. i have had a few people say they couldn't travel to the hospital with 1.78 but it turns out they had 1.77 or 1.76 installed.

finally here are some fun bugs I had this week:
here I wanted to make the baby smaller but I made the incubator smaller instead
then I made the baby too small by accident, it actually doesn't look too bad

this mod is what makes my sims trying for baby much more eventful as there is a process and my sims keep ending up having twins so the process with your mod makes it a lot more fun for me! ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR MOD!!! No issues just in awe of how far the childbirth mod has come over the last year or so!

I don't have any issues I just wanted to say you're amazing lol I cannot and will not ever play my game without your mod in it. My current family doesn't even have kids yet and I still won't play without it lol

Hi, I just downloaded the most recent update, it would let me put a chair next to the incubator? Every other part of the mod works fine except for that

ok that makes sense now because the patient had that weird bubble thing around their head when they cant move something is in the way thank you for responding

Hi, they are only 4 hours long. You should try making more room around the toilet so that the urine sample has enough space to spawn

Hi I just became 4th year nursing student with my sim and I tried sending a patient 4 times to go do a urine sample and it didn’t work all 4 times am I doing something wrong ? And also are the shifts only going to 4 hours long or do they get longer in time
