Glad to have you back

Art Bechstein

Very excited by this slate of stories. Especially excited by both the continuation of Lauren the Lurker and the beautifully objectifying alt-universe of Blob Wives. I'm hoping you go as meanspirited and dark with Lauren as you like- I'm rooting for the villain on that one and am really intrigued by whatever he's planning on peddling to the sickos on the dark web. For Blob Wives, I'm looking forward to learning more about the folkways and customs of a culture in which feedism and all that comes with it is normalized, even albeit within a quasi-criminal social element (which would actually kind of make sense?) Also looking forward to Army Wives - that story can carry the burden of emotional complexity, fully drawn characters, and sincere drama. The others can fit the bill for massive, oblivious hogs getting objectified by charming feeders.

The stories I keep coming back to, the ones that light a fire under me, are slow-burn, fit-to-fat stories. Stories, where the characters are fat right out of the gate, have never really resonated with me. I read for the gain, the role reversal, the dramatic transformation from athletic to morbidly obese--to the point that the character has essentially handicapped herself because of her gluttony. It's why Army Wives and Moving Back Home are by far my favorite of your stories. Yeah, you are absolutely right that it takes time to set the stage and build momentum, especially if you're craving to see an extreme gain such as me, but the buildup amounts to a bigger payoff. That brand of storytelling is why I'm a subscriber, albeit a new one. I enjoy stories with drama, compelling narrative, and a darker edge regarding how it addresses weight gain: mobility scooters, shower bench, bariatric bed, immobility, oxygen, hospital and doctor visits, etc. What I don't enjoy, however, is when it culminates in the character's death. That's edges too much into the uncomfortable for me if I'm being honest, though I know that's other folks' bread and butter. So, I enjoy the dark, just not the death.

If I unsubscribed from you, how would you continuously throw down the gauntlet with your increasingly high-quality stories? You're easily one of my favorites, and I don't plan on going anywhere.

Same. I admit I got here because of Army Wives and while I don't love everything equally, there's enough to keep me interested once that wraps up. Blob Wives especially... It ticks so many boxes for me, I'd sub just for that honestly.

For what it's worth, I'm glad you're coming back and I won't be unsubscribing anytime soon
