Cutting it very close to the deadline this week. I do not like doing that. I apologize if this chapter seems rushed or unpolished or lacking something.
I don't like making excuses. I had a family emergency come up this weekend. It looks like everything is going to be OK but it almost wasn't OK and was almost very, very, very, bad. Realistically speaking, it turned out about as well as I could have possibly hoped. But I'm still really shook up because of what COULD have happened if things had gone just a little differently.
I wish I could be more specific with you guys but I'm not comfortable putting other people's business out there like that. It took me a lot longer than usual to get this draft together because I kept getting distracted. It sounds like a cop out and I don't blame any of you for thinking it is. But those of you who have been with me for a long time, I would hope, know how solid I am and how rare something like this is for me.
This will not last the whole month. It will be back to business as usual come next week. When things like this happen I tend to feel guilty and over-deliver on my next release. You can count on that. Apologies. And thank you guys for understanding.

This is my favorite story of yours. I echo those who have said that your deadlines are self imposed and you're dealing with an overall very contented subscriber base, but if there's a world in which you'd feel compelled to crank out another Lauren installment this month, well that'd just be swell. The idea of a deranged deathfeeder dissembling as a nice guy supportive of WLS just so he can sabotage and document it for dark side of the feedist community consumption is uniquely and gloriously twisted. Might be fun to witness an online meeting of the minds between Mike and some of his like-minded pals can discuss the situation candidly.

No problem—I have similar anxiety fears about letting everyone down a lot. That said, I hope you realize that you actually *didn’t* do that, and even if you did, shame on us for overthinking fat stories for criessake!! 🤣

Thank you. I'm glad you liked it. I was just really stressed out last night and the words weren't coming to me like they usually do. Which made me feel like this one sucked and I was delivering subpar content to people who pay me money for it. Which made me feel bad, hence the rambling apology lol. TL;DR I'm kinda crazy.

Why are you even apologizing? You do realize that this chapter came out *on time* right? And that your “deadlines” are self-imposed, right? Regardless, don’t sweat us. Focus on the family stuff as much as you need. Besides, I liked this chapter. She’s the size of a Boeing (get it?), and Mike is suspiciously supportive of WLS. Nothing like seeing Vivica go from needing to find a fat-friendly chair to now just letting Lauren be wheeled in…
