Top Secret (Funk Section)
🕑 Added 2021-07-15 16:29:13 +0000 UTCTime for a secret riff this week. (shh, don't tell anyone)
There's a base repetitive riff here, which occasionally has a funky fill thrown in the middle. I'll break these down in the video, as well as the key changes that happen partway through. Also pay attention to the ghost notes that I play, they are absolutely vital into getting a funky sound.

I know just enough about funk to know I still know so little, but I'll keep plugging away at it. Seconding the acoustic parts! And also the melody in Red and Gold about a minute in (where the melody goes higher after the main riff for about 30 seconds)? It's so cool
The ghost notes in this are going to break my brain. Canβt wait to sink my teeth into them and give it a go. Also, as for Phobos IV, I know acoustic isnβt really the vibe around these parts, but if you were ever willing Iβd love to see a little breakdown of some of Wherever Forever Whenever

This is so cool! It looks incredibly satisfying to play. It sounds deceptively simple but there's so much going on and your hands have to be working together like a well-oiled machine.
