The Christmas Song
🕑 Added 2020-12-24 15:57:56 +0000 UTCHere's a video I'm going to post on my Instagram later, but I thought I'd put it on here first. It's a fun arrangement I made of a holiday classic spiced up with some jazz.
This style is called 'chord melody' - basically you play the melody note on top and put extra notes underneath to thicken and self-harmonize the sound. There's a million ways this can be done. I tried a few different arrangements and options before I settled on this.
Check out the attached TAB. It's definitely more for advanced players. You don't necessarily need to learn the whole thing, but even if you just grab a chord or two from it then it has proven valuable.
