If you finished writing your fantasy novel and submitted it to a publisher, and the publisher came back with "Yes, we'll publish it, but only if you add a human faction that the readers can identify with" what kind of spin or twist would you put on said faction to avoid the "Humans in Fantasy = boooooooooring" trope that you so despise?
