It is a straight line direction, like a string between them. If he goes through a gate it will jump to the direction the gate sent him, instead of staying at the gate.

So we all can agree that if Thera feels their bond flicker off and on, it is their universal 'shit is hitting fan, help' signal, right? Can someone remind me exactly how it works? With the tower of Galwax, it pointed her there, but does it show the shortest route to Ben? So if he goes to help, Thera will be pointed to whatever gate will get her there fastest? Or was it direct direction from him to her?

Death god in plant town sounds like a possibility. Maybe it is just a demon, but i would like the death god to be a thing eventually (like it should) so Ben can get some practice fighting a god.
