Suggestions on how to improve sketch request selection
🕑 Added 2021-11-01 17:25:29 +0000 UTCIt seems the method I used to fill the sketch request slots lead to some issues, especially with the... funkiness of the Patreon app, connectivity issues, latency, etc.
I'm not sure how else to fairly select the 15 sketch requests aside from some raffle (which appears to be against patreon rules?).
If anyone has any suggestions, I'm open to hearing them to try to improve everyone's experience!

Yea, i meant more like a poll for something being added as a tier reward. Not necessarily for the sketch requests (it'd indeed be unfair for OCs)

Perhaps not a poll because personally that would allow Media characters to have an advantage over OC characters so it would lead to a generalization of them over people's OC. So I don't think it would be fair to do a poll for this sort of stuff.

I think a good idea could just be better timing. Because of the difference time zones I had to wait till I was at work to put in my name. Maybe Make sure it’s at a time where people can get on their home computers and hopefully have a better connection?

Voting poll is a good idea! You take all the suggestions and have people vote, and you take the Top 15!

Yea the limiting of "no sketches 2 months in a row" sounds like a simple way to go.

Yea if i dont get to them this month, I'll prioritize those who didnt get in for December for sure

Hard to say Was gonna say, you should just take prompts that you like Or just put a limit to the patreon requests Like 15 users only for that tier Or just not accept one's from those who already got requests for two turns

Raffles & Rotations? (Names in a hat, can't get two months in a row etc. Until everyone's had one? Saying that. No clue how that would work with new / drop outs etc) Thunderdome?

Yes I've seen that feature, but wouldn't that restrict the same 15 people in a limited sketch tier to remain there each month?
