I like that Aylin is uncomfortable with the advances. It mirrors both the reader’s and apparently your emotions, which makes for a particularly good scene. Personally, I think platonic cuddling (or even maternal cuddling) would have been the best solution, although Aylin isn’t that type of person. Cupping someone’s face and giving them a tender forehead kiss does wonders for making them feel safe, too. Still, this way is good.

DW the energy is good, definitely gets the point across and it’s neither too up-front or unspoken. Quite like how Aylin dealt with it actually… ….and also Aeliel’s niece is 100% a very intelligent being, nobody seems to understand the power of friendship in this world. Except Aylin. The smartest.
