That's true, it does feel unnecessary overtime. I was just recommending something because it seems to bother Pit that he's not showing anything. I'm an artist too, I get that you feel less productive if you don't show anything in a certain amount of time, specially in the internet.

As someone who used to do a weekly update for his own Patreon, it quickly becomes pointless/tiresome to update when there hasn't been any progress. In your mind you might be thinking "well there might be some sketches to show or something" but in practice, it's not much fun to show unfinished, unpolished work. Art doesn't get gradually done over four weeks, either - when you get locked in it gets done quickly, if you're not into it, it doesn't get done at all. Now I just update when I have some relevant information to share.

Though I'd love to see more work from you, since you only charge for what you post, I don't feel angry if you have a low output month. If you don't give us anything, we aren't charged anything. I've dropped other Patreons that just charged a flat monthly rate and then put out nothing.

How about you do a weekly update? it doesn't need to have a finished drawing or anything, just a screenshot of what you're currently working and saying hi. This is what Akabur does, and it does feel nice to see at least a glimpse of what you're doing. Just a recommendation, Pit, I personally don't care much about your update schedule, you do what you do, but some people do. This piece is very cool. Good work.

while I understand you needing to take care of yourself, it's still incredibly shitty that you keep doing this whole lack of communicating thing, it takes maybe 5-10 minutes to type up an update post to tell us you're taking a break, instead of leaving us in the dark for a full month
