🕑 Added 2019-10-06 08:47:29 +0000 UTCOne of the things I've been trying to do during the remastering is keeping the characters as much the same as possible even when giving them new detailed skins etc. On the whole I've done pretty well and you shouldn't at any point go "Who the hell is that?" with chars looking the same mid to long range, then having extra detail up close.
The only one I've failed ever so slightly on was Walker.
One of the plus and minuses of upgrading skins and environments and assets generally is that other assets that used to look good/fine no longer do. This applies especially to Walker's hair. I -loved- the style she had for hair down but sadly it just doesn't have enough strands (detail) and so now looks very false and plastic, especially in the new environments where the whole lighting rig has changed. I've tried a shi...*coughs* I mean, a lot of stuff on it, including three other hair types that I could morph to that look but it is, I'm afraid, no go and her "hair down" look has to change.
Given we've only seen that "hair down" look in one scene so far, I think we can take the hit.
So say, hi to new re- skinned Amanda...

Thanks Phil. I'm really gunning for realism in the girls now. Some of the tests which I haven't shown look....yeah. They look good :)

Very impressed. Very attractive the start of wrinkles around eyes and on neck still show some life experience.

It's a great idea - but sadly no "hair longer" slider :(

She is looking good, the fact her hair is less straight again helps. She is still beautiful:)

Love her still. Maybe some sliders on the shaping panel of the hair asset could even make her hair longer (if you wish it so).
