Drach - Did you get a chance to visit St. Michael’s cave when you toured the rock? It’s an impressive complex inside the rock…
Gregg Germain
Excellent video complete with typical Drach-ian history lessons (the dry dock). Thank you!
Do not turn your back on those apes if you have a backpack. They will be rummaging through the content as soon as you do. And you will find the shade inside that 100 ton battery a lot more comfortable than hiking the rock I think.
Nice, not to mention the rock’s heavy displacement and impenetrable armour!

Evidently the Drachinifel class historian is optimised for low altitude performance, hence the interest in ships rather than aircraft :-)

As a wildland firefighter who hikes for a living, I appreciate you doing this more than most, Drach! Thanks!

Little known fact. Drach tap danced up to the top while singing “A Modern Major-General”. Lindybeige hung his head in shame.

DO NOT FEED the Barbary apes. Everyone feeds the Barbary apes. They are the fattest simians on earth.

Have a nice day and thanks for sharing your impressions. Your potential energy should be max when reaching the top of the rock.
Watch out for the monkeys! They were pretty aggressive when my shipmates & I were touring Gibraltar 10 years ago.

Drach, I love these tourist-y photos and such documenting your visit. Thank you.
