Ultra Processed Trash Takes a Dump - $BYND down 99.5%

However if you took 1 min to research it youy would find out it is trash stuffed with refined oils, protein isolates, starches, methylcellulose, maltodextrin, “natural flavors,” and other additives you’d never consume at home.
Some ingredients even raise extra eyebrows—like rice-based proteins that can carry arsenic. Nutritionally, it’s worse than many processed meats: high sodium, highly engineered, and nowhere near the clean “plant-based” image it sells. I rem a mate of mine said it gave him the worst gas of his life - and he is a gassy fellow eats lots of crap.
And to top it off, one of their plants was reported to have mold, listeria, and even foreign materials like metal and wood.
In short: it’s processed sludge, not a health food—and its downfall should remind us to question all ultra-processed junk, not just the fake-meat fad. I wish people would react the same way to all the other crap out there.
