If you go into the woods today, you’re in for a big surprise! (Specifically the dark woods which is the area left/west of Rosedew)
REFRESH: Dark Forest first pass has been completed. I will be doing ANOTHER pass over it this month.
ADDED: Eleceel and her unevolved form, Fizzslug. She won the popular vote by a wide margin, so I finished her up and added her quickly! Shes in the Dark Forest for now.
ADDED: Ballosaur, and her unevolved form Dinoball. She is the second mind type monster for the game and a dev undemocratic original! Dinoball can be caught in the Dark Forest.
ADDED OVERWORLD MONSTER: Vedabug, wanders the maze in the dark forest, ready to chase down her victims, and breed them in battle. In fact, this is the only way to fight Vedabug right now, as the Dark Forest random encounter list is overpopulated with Ballosaur and Eleceel. Going forward, all new areas will have at least one wandering monster type that will chase the player and initiate battle. As this doesn’t count as a random battle, REPEL doesn’t prevent these fights. Good thing you have a sprint button. Because your solo dev is an idiot and couldn't get steering to work in time, the monsters aren’t wandering, or colliding with trees, instead they have a simple A.I. and function more like little MINES, for now...
ADDED BUZZBOT: The first overworld mechanic to unlock a shortcut adds a little robot you can activate to cut down some trees! This can help the player avoid doing difficult areas (like the maze) more than twice a playthrough.
Alter: Filled out some stable resident options you might have noticed, you cannot tab to those windows yet. Consider them spoilers for upcoming content.

You do another run and your exp points carry over, for each 100 exp banked you get 1 supply.

I think cheaper than 25 points but I think I agree. Missing that 1 stone you need sucks.

hello there I got a good idea for your game if you're interested in the shop the evolution stones make them so you can buy them one at a time for the points so you can choose which evolution stone you really want so if you really need an evolution stone make it so it cost I don't know about 25 points

I think I hotfixed this? But thanks for the bug report, will be fixed for the next version. You are bang on with your diagnosis too. The fix ALSO required me making it so the overworld Vifly doesnt delete herself based on her timer, if you open the menu or get into a fight in the grass.

You acquire stones randomly from looting stumps atm. Also you run out of food... The game is going to be developed in the direction of a roguelite.

With your MOUSE you can buy supply, while in the base, you can open the supply menu.

I have a question about if you run out of food where are you supposed to get more.? if you have opened all the hidden chest candy get restocked after some time.?. and I can't find the electric stone and the Earth stone and the mind Stone.?

You said with the haunthag (hope im spelling that right) that there would be all the types. What about the Cosmic type that is the only type that normal is good against? also would love a dex type mechanic to tell where all the mons are so i dont have to just keep guessing where they spawn. Anyways great game didnt think i would get addicted to the xp mechanic and farming it but here i am.

So, found a bug with this update. IF the Vifly comes out right as you enter a bush battle, You'll enter the Bush battle and then get interrupted by the Vifly, Which seems to attempt to stack the battle from a 4 count to an 8 count while also overriding the enemy you are fighting in the bush battle with a Vifly. Unfortunately if you defeat all the Vifly you get down to 4 enemies remaining and the game will freeze. Never deploying the Bush enemies, Requiring a restart of the engine.
