🕑 Added 2025-11-24 21:02:36 +0000 UTCHey guys, one of the pieces of advice I received recently from more successful indie project persons, was to "always be updating supporters". I used to think I only wanted to share the actual finished updates, but I have been told that one or two weekly PROGRESS REPORTS a MONTH can help reassure supporters that I, as the dev, am alive, and earning their support.
On that note, here is what I am planning for the upcoming update:
I am hard at work finishing the DOUBLE scout drop, which will bring the playable characters up to 8. With the two secret characters (MIND and GHOST) being a very distant goal. Here's what the finished sprite work is looking like. Those big portraits are for the quests dialogue, which is a feature that will be massively expanded in future. I am also anxious about getting Hydramind and Lawsuit bird out at a similar time and MAYBE the new WIND moves, just so Ariel FEELS good to play. With all of that done, I will refocus on ENEMY TRAINERS, while continuing to update whole TYPES with new moves, rapidly, continue working on the mildly impressive SWAMP area (Firehoof and Fungette world mons ugh). But I will be SUPER focused on the ENEMY TRAINERS update, which is already getting picked at when I have time.
Please reply with any reported bugs in the comments. Current known bugs are: (Camp cant feed Mons and access inventory), (Loading and saving mons can eat 12 fruits?), (Stats not upgrading when mon has better stats? But only sometimes?), (Mon hatched repeat message), (Storage won’t update to show shiny)

after about 25 mins the game will just freeze during combat, none of the buttons work when this happens and the only fix is to close the game and restart it, wiping unsaved progress. I tried again four times and each time it would happen again and make me restart.

about the loading and saving mons being able to eat 12 fruits. Each time you save and reload them on a new run the fruits they can eat goes up again. It is up to 6/21 fruits for me. They cant actually eat more fruits though due to them not being able to eat fruits that have already been eaten
