I highly prefer fanart! I agree with the sentiments about drawing whatever you're personally passionate about, though. Don't burn out and come to hate drawing. Your Higurashi stuff is the best :)

Original, 100%. You'll have more freedom to create characters exactly how you like them, and OCs have a much more personal touch than fan art. I know fan art is more popular, but I always prefer it when artists focus on OCs!

I found you while searching for Fanart of Garandou Sara (Island), just realizing that it’s already been about 7 years ... and stuck around for Higurashi (always appreciated), Neptune, GochiUsa at the time. So definitely fanart for me but I also like your originals.

I love both, but I always had a deep love for your Sayaka fanarts from Ape Escape, that was what initially got me to find and follow you. I'd love to see some of Casi from Ape Escape too sometime! So I'd say I lean towards wanting to see more fanarts, but don't stop doing original works!
