In the tradition of my old Prince of Persia videos, this is a three-part look at the 90s console ports of Doom. Each version had their own interesting additions and omissions to suit the incredibly diverse set of consoles available at the start of the 32-bit era.

Definitely, that was the first full version of Doom I owned as well - at first I thought it was offputting that they'd changed it so much, but since then I've come to appreciate it as a different take on the game :)

PS1 version of Doom will always be my *personal* OG Doom. It's amazing how a few tweaks to the lighting and a new soundtrack can completely change the mood of the entire game.
