Hi! And thank you ♥️

K. Vale Nagle

I could not stay away from signing up for the Patreon once I found out book two of When You Fell From Heaven was here, so hello! I also just finished chapter 46 of Dorley on AO3, so all paths led me here.

Thank you so much! A lovely comment to read upon waking up from a slightly unpleasant COVID nap :)

i just finished book one and subscribed to the patreon specifically to read book two. i’ve been marathoning it over what feels like the past 2 or 3 weeks. holy smokes, this book has annihilated me. i blew up in my bedroom. there are bloody chunks of Girl all over the walls and ceiling. the smell of viscera is never going to leave. what am i going to tell my parents about the mess 😭 thank you so much for the story. i anxiously await book 3, with love ❤️

This was very good. Thank you for writing! A note from someone who grew up around the same time as the characters in around the the same area: I don't think I've ever heard anyone call them "the Santa Ana winds". I guess you might describe them that way to someone unfamiliar with the concept, but every local I've met just says "the Santa Anas are blowing" or "the Santa Anas are brutal this year" or whatever.

I loved it, loved it so much! I have binged both books in two days and I am craving more!! I really hope we see chapters for the next book soon. I need my girl max to be okay! and oh and any goddess of any denomination if there are any that will listen please give me a taylor in my life (I mean in a way there is)

Endera

Taylor was magnificent as she berated Coach Dale! Which was especially satisfying as Coach Dale disappointed me greatly, running with the worst interpretation and further traumatizing our already reeling Maxine. Gina continues to be abominable. Maxine’s dad is barely retaining the right to the title, though it would be reasonable to declare him dar’buir alongside Gina. While Maxine’s flight is scary, it is also one full of hope. Theresa’s offer to get an official medical process started, and all the rest of the legal things after, helps keep a path to the future open. Maxine was absolutely right about escaping while it remains possible, and the specter of conversion torture completely justifies extreme measures. I like the bits of practicality she’d picked up and had enough clarity to enact. So eager to read what’s next for her.
