Strengthening your back muscles, not only helps you maintain an upright and aligned posture but also enables you to resist the impact of strikes and maintain stability during grappling exchanges. By incorporating targeted exercises like rows, pull-ups, and deadlifts into your training routine, you create a solid base that supports optimal posture and balance. You can see here I’m doing a high row, with my shoulders rolled forward then locked, and squeezing once my elbow pulls the weight all the way back.
