Snuggled up in my darling socked feet, I chuckled to myself as I replayed the day's domestic comedy of errors. In a moment of inspiration, I had decided to try my hand at making homemade pasta for the first time! π
I was determined to impress myself with my culinary prowess! π
I got the dough rolled out, or so I thought. Turns out, I was supposed to let it rest before cutting it. Whoops! But I powered on, hacking away at the sticky blob, creating a mess of jagged, misshapen noodles.
As I dropped them into the boiling water, they immediately clumped together like glue. Ugh. I fished them out, now a tangled, goopy mess. I tried again, this time adding oil. Still no luck. I sighed and dumped the whole batch in the trash.
Hmm, maybe pasta wasn't my thing. But hey, I had a fridge full of cheese and a movie to watch! I settled in, chuckling at my kitchen blunders. All in all, a pretty decent day, I'd say! π΄π
