One reason I tend to take dreams and their meanings with a grain of salt is because, as someone who experiences very vivid dreams, I find solace in the moments of reunion with lost loved ones rather than dwelling on their absence upon waking. It's like being with them again, if only in my dreams. *(Though through practice, I've come to learn a valuable lesson. Initially, my nightly dreams would often leave me feeling disoriented, as I struggled to differentiate between the vivid dream world and reality. Not sure how many resinate with that.)*
**Consider this:** dreaming about a dog running into danger can be interpreted in various ways: πΆβοΈ
*- You have a dog and they are going to self sabotage and die... lol the most straightforward thoughts, or...
- It might suggest a fear of forgetting or losing something important.
- It could symbolize a longing for freedom or a desire to break free from constraints.
- Perhaps it signifies a looming influence or power entering your life.
- It might reflect a yearning for independence or a rebellion against societal norms.
- Alternatively, it could hint at aspects of your life unraveling beyond your control.
- Trying to save an animal in your dream could represent efforts to change habitual thought patterns.
- As well as dogs in dreams can symbolize guardianship, fidelity, or even forewarn of impending change or loss.*
Much like reading horoscopes, one can interpret these symbols to fit their life circumstances, whether or not they truly align. It's easy to creatively stretch concepts to fit a suiting interpretation... just like so many other areas in our lives.
