Lost Heroines: Freedom Girl
I've been sitting on a couple of rough drawings of this one for quite awhile now and decided this seemed like as good a week as any to clean one up and share it. Have to have a patriotic heroine in your lineup.
Gift Art: Lonebeatle's Wendy Lupine aka Silverstreak
A gift art I did for longtime online friend, fellow artist and current patron Lonebeatle of his werewolf character Wendy Lupine. We share the same birthday and so we often exchange gift art. He got to see it a month ago on his birthday of course, but now I'm sharing it with my patrons here befor...
SWCC30A WIP Wednesday
Work continues on the next Janet piece...
MSWSE Page 5 Inks
This will be the most difficult page to color... so many bits and pieces as the remnants of her outfit shred apart.
MSWSE Page 4A Base Colors
Flats and skin/hair on bonus page for extended version of sequence.
WIP: MSWSE Page 4 Skin color added
Over this three stage image, I reduced the human skin opacity from 75% to 55%.

Forgot to edit and post this last week!
Design Sketch: Cro-Magna
EXCLUSIVE: A creature design for a Beauty is the Beast concept rattling around in my brain.
WIP: MSWSE Page 3 Skin and Hair
Added the skin and hair effects to page 3. A colored pencil too with the human skin color is run over top of the wolf colored base at slowly decreasing levels of opacity. The texture of the pencil give a grainy feel that makes the skin look a bit rough as would befit a werewolf. The hair is done s...
WIP: MSWSE Page 4 Flats
Color really helps make a sequence come alive, as it makes clearer the changes in appearance as the skin and hair change color and the tearing clothing reveals more of the new form underneath. Again, some skin change effects will be laid over this to smooth the transition from one form to the other.
Concept Drawing: Janet Walker
Color drawing made in preparation for Janet's fourth #30th Anniversary piece, now in progress!
WIP: She-Wolf 30A Classic TF Rough Pencils
Pencils for the 30th Anniversary Janet Walker TF sequence. Rather than do a simple five stage collage I went with a more elaborate sequence with this one.

These days I use Autodesk Sketchbook on the iPad Pro to do most of my drawing. I use light blue to lay out the sequence and poses. Then ...
WIP: MSWSE Page 4 Inks
Ready to add flats to this one.
WIP: MSWSE 3 Flat Colors
Work on Manga She-Wolf Special Edition continues. Here’s the flats for page 3. I’m using the colors for the wolf form’s hide and fur for the base color of the skin and hair, then I’ll add a lair of the human skin and hair colors over it on a separate layer for a transitioning effect.
SWCC: Selfie Day (Full Res)
I guess yesterday was Selfie Day. The Felon Fightin' Furball was busy um, fighin' felons last night but took this in the morning along with a photobomb from her partner!

THROWBACK THURSDAY UPDATE 6-17-21: Three years ago we were celebrating thirty years of the felon fightin' furball, the She-Wolf! This was the rough layout for the transformation piece for the classic Janet Walker, the finished version of which can be seen here:https://www.patreon.com/posts/swcc3...
Batgirl 2018 Noir
I put my Batgirl sketch through a noir filter to fill in a gap in my instagram post for the color version, and I thought it looked pretty cool, so I decided to share the full image here.
Full Res: Batgirl 2018
So, Batgirl is getting a new costume again. I was perfectly fine with the Batgirl of Burnside look, but it's nice to see a more traditional superhero costume back. I do think it's more practical to have more of that red hair kept out of the way with a cowl though. EIther way, I prefer either...
Lost Heroines: White Shadow
Sometimes I like designing costumes just for the fun of it. I’ve got a series of heroine designs that I collectively refer to as the “Lost Heroines.” Here’s the latest, a super spy type called White Shadow. I like the design but I’m not sure about the illustration. What do you think?
