The birds - ref
Here's my loose refs for the main characters' birds! Their genders aren't relevant and they're addressed as 'it', but this is how they're in my head. No animal in my comic is any known breed but they're greatly inspired by some, hence the bird types written up there.

The main gang
The main characters' designs formed really quick by accident. These are the first drafts and apparently they just stuck. Only Runi's face is different and Nero's antlers got smaller, but otherwise they stayed the same.

Here's things I doodled when I was still figuring out what I wanted from my comic. I already knew my main character (one of them) would have a resting bitch face syndrome. Nero and Runi's designs started here!
