fun fact: when i pitched the idea of drop-out to myself as a comic, this was where it was supposed to end, to leave what happens to sugar up to the reader. after formalizing the story more, i was unhappy with that ending.

lola's question here references a dream sequence cut from the script during development.the theme of dreams is still somewhat present in the story, but originally played a more prominent role. i decided to cut the sequences for the sake of brevity and subtlety.
