Another Orb (sketch draft)

I ended up tossing the 2nd Mai sketch and redrew the orb shape into this. I like the form of this one more. Also, I'm deciding to use a different snk character in her place.

The Kiss (rough animatic)

Here's the rough idea for the next animation I'll be working on. It's a classic scenario that I'm finally getting around to animating.

Here's the actual final render. Sorry about the previous one. There were many little patches of miscolored pixels on the previous render due to the ordering of the lighting and lineart layers. It was bothering me so I went back and fixed it.

Here's the full render of the sketch. I tried a similar coloring method to the previous drawings but I used colored lineart in an extra step after the sketch. I'll continue to experiment for future drawings.

Here's the finished render. I used the same process as the last drawing to color this one. I'll probably do one more drawing using this coloring process to reinforce the steps in my head and then I'll start to experiment some more when drawing.

The Last Skewer

Here's the final piece. Along with using the new coloring method, I also made a new brush and learned about making digital brushes while working on this one. Let me know if you like this lineless style or not also. I try to keep my style varied but I also want to know what you all think.
