Aero diary #6: shallow wheels going fast
This was my first couple of tests on the ican 35s. The cheapest and shallowest wheels on the test so far. They were pretty damn fast for a shallow wheel. Soon I'll start posting up all the data on a graph updated on a rolling basis.

This day was interesting, basically 0 yaw and very repeatable, ideal conditions. The wider rims....well they were slower last time at high yaw despite being 69mm deep. I have more testing to do to confirm this, but on the same tyres, they were slower. If you have a smooth tarmac surface, go narrower...

Hambini hates this brand, but I've had OK experiences with the 69mm versions which im currently doing aero testing on. They are a little expensive but in my opinion they are built and laced nicely.
