Céline Aieta in conversation with Thomas Berlin
If you’d like to know a little more about myself!
The Corset Series
Photographs by Isaure Anska who is also a dear friend of mine. She’s also the one I have been working with the most. We always find a way to reinvent ourselves and create beautiful visual stories. And it’s always a great pleasure!
Backstages - The Queen Agreste Series
Finally able to share with you backstages videos!
The Bruno Fabbris Series
Photographs by Bruno Fabbris shot in his Mouffetard studio. He’s currently working on a book he showed me including some of these.
LE COURONNEMENT by Jonathan Littell
Filmed around 6 years ago for the Paris Opera. It was a honor to work with Jonathan Littell. And also an incredible experience to work with a whole production team over a week. It has been a super challenging journey to say the least but so rewarding. Hope you’ll enjoy it! Subtiles are available.
The Golden Light Series
Photographs by super talented Rémi Rebillard who is incredible at capturing light. All is body of work is amazing.
The Peony Series
Photographs by Rudy Waks who is doing a series on women and flowers. Of course mine is a red peony. I have so many of them tattooed on my body in such different styles. Couldn’t choose a favorite!
The Atelier Beyond Series
Photographs by my dear Thomas Berlin from Frankfurt am Main shot in Paris. Love this place that has so much soul.
The Queen Agreste Series 3
Last part of this incredible shoot with Marion Saupin and Maye Camarena. It’s a pleasure when I can create with such passionate, authentic and kind people. And it feels so rewarding to make an abstract idea become reality.
The Sparkly Series
Photographs by Yann Senez. I just love how he plays with light.
The Golden Fan Series
Series shot with Guillaume Régler who is also a talented wood carver. I love everything about this series : ropes, gold and a fan. Did you know that my backpiece is Japanese inspired?
The White & Gold Series
One of my favorite series shot with Fabrice Labit and the amazing jewelry from TokyoStories. It reminds me of the Gustave Moreau’s painting «Salomé tatouée» with a contemporary twist.
The Underwater Series
What could be more difficult than an underwater shoot? As I write this all sorts of ideas come to my mind but yes shooting underwater for the first time in the sea was challenging to say the least. Nevertheless the outcome came out great and I love this series by Natalia Kovachevski.
The Shibari Series
Shot by Daniel Nguyen. Intense experience to be tied with ropes and even more to get suspended. But I always loved the aesthetic that I discovered through photographs like Daido Moriyama and Araki.
The Seaside Series
First image from this day in Normandie with lovely Luna. What are you guys up to this Summer?
The Fields Series 2
Thank you so much everyone for joining me here! It’s such a pleasure to be able to present you my work properly without any sorts of restrictions. Hope you’ll enjoy the journey 🌾
The Queen Agreste Series 2
Second part of the Queen Agreste series. The make up reminds me of Brazilian photographer Sebastião Salgado and his series on Amazonian tribes. I highly recommend you look at his work. Also love that gold spinal column that is interesting looking no matter how I move.
The Queen Agreste Series
First images of the Queen Agreste series shot with Marion Saupin. This incredible body piece was made by Maye Camarena goldsmith based in Paris. I was very honored to be able to wear it. It's incredibly light and at the same time gives a super strong power. Interesting to witness the magic behin...
The Field Series
After shooting at the pond, we took the car and drove again a couple of hours to come to these beautiful fields. It’s not so often that I decide to shoot outside since it really depends on the weather and temperatures. And I tend to get cold quite easily. But this day was a wonderful experience, f...
The Pond Series
After a very long drive from Paris, Nuno brought me to this magical pond. It was a challenge to pose in freezing water and muddy soil. But it totally reminded me of the impressionist paintings and their common theme "The Bath".
